Is it worth looking at Race 2 being 8 laps after the outlap? I feel a bit cheated in Race 2 when the Porsche is so much fun to "drift" around corners! The Porsche has the uncanny knack of drifting while under brakes - you don't even need to turn the steering wheel! AWESOME

I can't remember if it was the car or track last time that I couldn't unzip once it had been downloaded, but if it wasn't the car then I might be able to make tonight a bit later on for a couple of laps.

Let me know if you can't open it and I'll stick it on dropbox for you unzipped if you like

Good news.  It's raining here so cricket training won't be on.  I'll be there for a little bit of practice and race 1 :)

For some reason, I found the car much more controllable this week. Maybe, as GW said, I am simply getting used to it. I had huge fun chucking the car around chasing humper and GW, and vey pleased to take a win in race 1 (thank you, GB's internet).

I have (now had) a hoodoo that Becketts corner onto Hanger straight... always lost anything learnt gained on the early turns...
Started to get a handle on languishing down the back in race one, after getting tapped off on turn one.

haha no I wasn't sandbagging and hope there will not be an inquiry into gambling allegations. :)

Finding myself first on the grid always does well for my resolve, I had a better handle on Bennetts and just wanted to use the advantage of my lines be consistent.  It turned out that AJ and I having the same pace and getting  an early lead meant and exciting 2 way match for the race.  I noted in the replay, that you (AJ), used second on the tight left hander at Club Corner, I found 1st did the job, even though I hate using it.
Great night again Phil and thanks for the stats, off to have a look.

I might have to give that a try Bruce. I think I was just too wary of the car's mentality to pitch a fit when dropping gears to early  ;D
