 8) ;D ;D ;D 8)
Thanks roo.

I went to watch the F5000's, did so, then.....
They mentioned a Can-Am race on day 1 so I went to look for that, then....
I saw an F1 race, so I had to watch that, then.....
I found the Can-Am race and watched that. ;D
Long story short, a short viewing became long. 8)

NOTE:
Before the Can-Am race a bloke goes on about the intake trumpets of the McLaren M8F being different lengths to tune the cylinders for torque or horsepower.
NOT TRUE! (or, if I was a president, FAKE NEWS!)
The trumpets were different lengths because the intake ports in the head were different lengths.
The distance between valve seat and trumpet top was equal for every cylinder.
No-one had thought about port length, so they assume Bruce was 'tuning' the cylinders individually, whereas in reality, everyone else was unwittingly 'de-tuning' their engine by not accounting for it. ;)

oh, and thanks again roo. :-*

Glad you liked it Bacchulum :) , not many people would have thought of the inlet ports being of unequal length.
