We took out the first one, but haven't had enough on the 2nd...probably due to some of the accidents, too.
Still, good fun :)

It was lots of fun, racing between the two teams. We had some good team talk going on TS, letting faster team member through and so on. The racing was pretty good, with a few close battles. The Cobras were definitely better for me; I struggled a bit for pace in the 458. Got smacked around a little at the start of race 2, and then later hooked myself up on a kerb which spat me off the track and left me last, but I managed to get back to 1 higher than my qually position and finished the race 17th.

I think next time it would be a little more entertaining to have everyone in the same TS channel.

That might be a bit too much...:)

It was the same for me, I was ok in the cobra, but in the fezza...I'm wondering if we should have gone with the softs, still.
Well, we'll have a GT season now, to learn the intricacies of these cars!

Many thanks, Wally, for the hard work!

No worries - it's all worth it. I had a great time. I really liked racing another team like that.

Nah , should not went soft , glad I did take Mediums. If it was soft i wouldnt be able to overtake Righty on the final laps as Soft will only do as fast as 2:01 on final laps and also have alot more understeer(for me) whereas Mediums can still go 1:59s-2:00s

Anyway , thanks Wally for hosting this great race! :)

Perhaps we can have a repeat at the end of ours and their seasons but use the car/track combo from the last round of that season. That would make the organisation easier. Also, use the season results to pick the drivers from each team. Not necessarily after every season.

Just a thought?

The way we do the handicapping in our seasons, there's no guarantee that the top 12 finishers are our fastest guys. I think the "try out" races are a bit of fun, anyway.

Yes - agree. How could I forget about the handicapping :))
