It could have been an attempt at humour.  But of course we can't have that here! :D

I think it was a 'Speed freak' ploy to get the fastest car for race 2.

The cold sunday worked in well, it only took an hour out in the shed in the first of Melbourne's winter, to come in side and do some real work on the puter!
Removed gigabyte of old, no longer used games  ::)  defragged the crap out of it and not experiencing any problems.  :-X
Fixed my G27, tightened the rotation sensor, only took 10 minutes, I know I should have done it months ago! It is soooo nice to drive now. :)

Good news mate on fixing g27, one of those things once it is done, you think i should have done it ages ago...I eliminated my small  stutters with a new video card and slight cpu oc. Runs as smooth as silk now. Full grid with ai 120fps all eye candy on except fxaa

I'm stuck at 1:33s and no matter how many changes to the set up that I have tried is a gain for me from the default.
Could some one post a setup? Ta

I managed a low 1.29 with the setup posted in my setups thread.

Few things to consider, if I can help:
* hold it flat through Ascari (second last corner).
* get a good line out of the second Lesmos to maximize your speed on the long stretch to Ascari.
* braking is different to most cars in that you start off easy and can increase pressure the slower you go (to a point).

Otherwise just tip it in! :)

Cheers.

Thanks GuyBrush, about to give the setup and the tips a run.  :D

Can you please sign me up Wally! I'm keen to get some race laps down.
I'm also fine to be a sub if the grid is loaded.

Fark me I hate that 312T.  I just can't keep it on the road, snappy, too much power...and understeer into the corner.  Plus the stupid wings.  I hate it.

It'll be a challenge, that's for sure. What a pity AC doesn't have rain yet.
