Did you check your AC video resolution?

Thanks for the suggestion Wally, but I had checked that also. Usually that one kicks you back to the Menu screen. Mine just hangs on the black "Loading track " screen.

My second race was rubbish. I spun too many times on kerbs, which chucked me to the back and left me just hot lapping, even though I manged to set a PB in the 51s. Disappointing...

Another great night even if my results were a bit disappointing. First a big congratulations to the winners and to Flattop for his win from pole in race one and then to backup with a second in the reverse grid. He was driving like a man possessed ;D
I was taken aback to be on the front row in R1 with just Flattop in front of me , however I stuffed up the start and Bacchulum was in second place by the first corner.
I thought no problem I will just hang on the back in third position and everything will be sweet and a podium position finish will eventuate. I must have been overconfident  and on cold tyres that is not a good combination, I hit the grass a few corners later and rejoined the race in 7th place behind Wally and we had a great chase to the end, I do not know how he stayed in front though, he was having handling troubles to put it mildly.
Race 2 reverse grid I started in 5th place behind Seanus but quickly ended up behind RussG and we had an epic battle to the end with just .4 of a second between us across the line.  ( I also detected a change in grip level from R 1 to R 2, I was right, R1 grip was 98.8% first lap and R2 was 97.6% first lap).

Thanks  Phil and all participants.

Well I don't need to say the outcome from last night's event will be memorable!
It wasn't having taken the grandchildren to pictures in the morning to see "Cars 3", it was having taken the time to do some quality practice in the middle of the day when I was feeling well... and having spent other time setting up endless configs to get a very good, consistent FPS, what a difference!

Race 1: I knew Bacchulum, (and most can drive the pants off me), but having pole, keeping it online, I would get at least half race and possibly keep him in check.
It turns out a couple of "cold tyre" mistakes added to the value and Bacchulum and I mixed it for the first laps and increased my confidence.
SECOND WIN AT XGN SINCE I STARTED HERE IN BIRD'S GT Legend, Season 2.  :)

I didn't think I would make race 2 or finish due to "adverse side effects" thanks for waiting.
Loved moving through the field, albeit due to some other's mishaps to have an absolute great battle with Seanus. Man it was fun to see you throw that little Porsche around.
Running 4th in a championship too, now that is a first.

Great night.  Looking forward to watching the replays.,, over and over and... :)

Race one not a lot to report, Bruce was too fast, Bacchulum refused to let me pass  ;D

Race 2 was tricky with too many mistakes. Few laps in Humper out-braked himself at the chicane and I assumed he would not manage to make the chicane so dived for a quick overtake. But miraculously Humper succeeded to pull his car up in time to avoid the wall and turned into the corner. Sadly two cars do not go into the tight chicane, predictably much chaos ensued  :-[  Apologies for any other drivers who got involved. Still had fun!
