100% grip, 0% damage, to make life easier.

Good, means I can get some revenge on Grat without damaging my car. I'm coming to get you GRAT!!   :P

(PS: Can you slow down a bit? Revenge is a bit difficult if you half a lap ahead)

Maybe it's just like Mael and myself.
I see him race cleanly with others, I've raced cleanly with yourself amongst others, but whenever we're near each other there seems to be contact.
Who knows why. :-\ :-X

Can't be my fault  ;D

In all seriousness, I knew I was taking a huge risk with the pass on the last corner and that it would likely end in tears. But I also took into account that the contact would be at low speed and that both of us were unlikely to loose any positions. So sort of contact on purpose with a faint hope of it maybe working. In general I'm not against contact as long as all drivers involve stays on the track, it is part of tin top racing (big no no if open wheel cars).

I enjoy racing against Bacchulum,  always makes you work for a pass. The Thursday contacts i blame on the cars, barely in control when going in a straight line  :o

Congrads  to Kcender, being to most consistent in 21% of entered races are almost GB like  ;D

Had some good racing, Matthew gave me a lesson in defensive driving in race 1,  Russ doing the same in race 3, couple of great moves Russ. Race 3 ended with a hail mary dive at the last corner to pass Bacchulum, unfortunately the contact with Bacchulum was a bit too hard to make it a fair pass so had to let him take the position back  :P   Race 2 ended in a temper tantrum quit to the pits, felt that Grat pushed me off the road, not that it would have mattered as AC disconnected not long after.

Overall not a good race for Maki Engineering, onward to season 21 Freezer!

Good point, didn't think about the difference of tracks, also, it kinda takes the fun out of driving these beasts. Maybe a small amount of ballast without restriction?

You can also add a bit more fuel for the same effect although it may not make them easier to drive as the restriction does.

I have found a hole in the track. If you hit the left hand wall of the tunnel you fall into a hole.

Maybe just don't drive into the bridge?   :o

I'll take the big Healey  ;D

Got disconnected race 1 which made race two easy  ;D

The real disappointment was race 3. I really wanted to make KCender work for the win, he usually overtakes me waaayy too easy. Sadly I threw it away on the short downhill corner (Revolver corner?) to gift the lead to him. Still steaming about it. Well done Kcender, the pressure was too much.

Strange race, could not keep out of trouble!

In the last race I spun out of the last corner coming to a stop facing the wrong direction. So instead of doing a 3 turn roundabout I thought I'll just reverse over the line like in the movies  ;D Unfortunately the checkered flag did not come up and as another car stormed towards me I had the sinking feeling that there was still a lap to go!  Felt like a real idiot.

But yeah, fill reverse grids will die a natural death, I think.

Reverse grids do work well in slow cars, The BMW might be a touch to rapid combined with tricky tracks which caused a bit of chaos at times.  ;D  Also depends on what the goal is of the races. Is it to find out who's the quickest or to have some fun racing?

For myself, I know who the quickest drivers are, that has been established from public races, practice servers and past races. And unless GB is driving, the driver would never be able to claim the alien title.

I also really liked the Ferrari 599xx EVO fun run we did. Someone on the night said "why haven't we raced these in a season?". I agree!

What about the little KTM, its a open wheeler, roadcar and hypercar all in one so we have all the bases covered.

I reckon the slowest cars on the shortest tracks possible, give everyone a chance to brush up on race craft

So you saying the FIAT 595 or Peugeot 504?  Should be fun  ;D

Rather satisfied with the result, wins do not often come around  :)

After the previous races I made an effort to try and stay out of trouble, going so far as to give up a number of places on the first few laps laps of every race. That together with a LOT of luck meant I avoided the race 2 pile up. That meant an easy a race 3 as could be but I was relieved when the finish line came up. Strangely my race 3 laptimes was a bit slower than expected, maybe a wind change?

(As for restrictor, the rules are known before the race so has to be factored into the level of aggression used during the race, I suffered in the previous races from it but was mostly my own fault. And on most race tracks the penalty is not that severe unless you have a 50kg penalty. The 50 kg penalty is drastic and from experience I can say that it is extremely difficult not to finish at the back with it, but is that not the idea?)
