Sweet combo, had fun with it. Took a couple of laps to get the hang of but only because of bacchulums set-ups, thanks

Krunch from over at rooz shared his vr gfx settings, he has a gtx1070, I set mine similar with maybe a couple things a bit higher (1080ti-lenovo hmd) and runs smooth 60-70fps;
Things that helped make the game run more smoothly in my Rift and still not look too blurry are:
- Resolution Scale reduced to 70%
- Pixel density in-game Raised to 140% (this may have a different effect on your HMD)
- Locking on ASW (so game runs at 45fps but still get 90 in HMD)
- Temporal AA on high (don't go lower)
- set the car LOD quality to the lowest setting
- turn off dynamic sharpening
- set the sharpening slider to something that works for you eg 200%
- find the right level of other settings for your system Eg lower mirror quality and number of visible cars, but maybe get shadows up to med or high
- don't mess with engine.ini tweaks unless it's as a last resort

First I couldn't find the link to the car (not in the season links) and almost wasn't going to worry about, thinking I wouldn't be missing much. BUT I'm glad I joined in, quite a lot of fun and worth the hassle of searching through the threads to find the car. Good clean and close racing, excellent mod and always great to get a good set-up, thanks guys

Probably my last Tuesday for a while, I only signed up because I had time off. Has been some good racing. As to the penalty though, I'm not sure it's as straight up as noted in op. I had much more pace through the chicken and other corners than freezer, I gained a lot of time there and would have gotten quite large in the mirrors (the first race was the same, I'd gain in the turns and then be blown away down the straight). There was room there for me but the door was closed as I started to get along side. I will apologise though I don't like to take anyone out. Leave the penalty on in case I do get to join in again.

That is neat , and the whole simrig is on wheels  8). Have you ever considered the motion option?
I needed wheels so I can put it away when not in use. Motion would be cool but too expensive for me.
