.....also some cars at some tracks will have all four tyres at different "ideal" pressures. Maybe it's normal and I never noticed it before
I only see that behaviour on mods that have no entry in the .ini
The app seems to pick random numbers if there's no entry.
Fronts can be different to rears but if there's an entry, left/right will be the same.

Ok, I think I first picked up on it in the mod GTR and thought it was happening in the Porsche lmp1. Still I'm not 100% sure though I'll keep an eye on it. Does anyone know the ideal pressures for those cars?

If the mod is unknown to the app, it just picks the starting (cold) pressures as a baseline.

Does anyone know the ideal pressures for those cars?

For the LMP1's, it's 35 all round.

Didn't see your message until you left, thank you very much. For some reason the app had something like 42 43 39 39 in my lmp. The vintage tyres were about 38 on the Escort?

If you manually adjust the tyre pressures shown in the app with the + and - buttons, it saves those values as your new "ideal" pressures. You normally shouldn't have to adjust the ideal pressures with the + and - buttons. If you re-download the app and replace the IdealPressures.ini file, you'll get all the default ideal pressures again.

The Escort is 37 front and back.

Something keeps changing my ideal pressures, maybe content manager? Further investigation required

The app only reads the pressures from that IdealPressures.ini file.
Maybe there's some errors. If you attach your py_log.txt from your logs folder next time you see this behaviour, I'll see if there are any errors in there.

Just an observation Wally.
When you say 'saves', do you mean permanently?
Mine only stays 'set' while I'm in the session, if I leave and rejoin I have to set the ideal pressure again.
Obviously this is in regards to mods only.

Yes, it is permanent, but I can't remember how it works for mods that don't already have an entry. It's possible that that scenario doesn't work.
