Feel free to fix as much as you have the time and/or inclination.

I have just tested collision box of Brabham with me in a Lotus, in VR, and in a race environment I do not think it would make much difference, tyres did not appear to overlap and collision/rubbing seemed normal. I say leave as is and proceed and see if there are any complaints.

Looking at my lap times so far...  I'll wave as you lap me, OK?

My lap time in the Ferrari not not a result of these 3 laps online, but I guess 20...25 on top of that offline...just thought you may haven't done so many, which could explain differences in lap times :-)
That's the only car I spent some time in worth mentioning. Only done 2 or 3 in the Eagle and I find this thing very fast, but for me it needs some set up work to get oversteering under control. I tried quite a bit on the Ferrari, but ended up with a setup pretty close to default.

Does the in-built penalty for using sequential gears instead of shifter apply? When I was racing it was worth around 0.5 to 1 second a lap depending on the car.

I think that's still a thing. I don't think it's that severe though. With a shifter, you seem to be able to get through the gears quicker, i.e. you can usually beat somone using paddles off the line with an H shifter.

240ms for sequential.
And 360ms for auto, which is just plain wrong.

Does anyone know where I can get these tracks and mods (thanks for the cars link Bird) anywhere OTHER than RaceDepartment?

Everything I D/L from there downloads at 20 kb/s or less, yet from everywhere else it's about 6Mbps.

Hi GB, welcome back.

Don't give up on RD just yet, I find that WHEN I d/l sometimes makes a big diff in d/l speed with RD. Try a different time of day and see if that helps.

RD speeds vary a lot at different times of the day.

I really wanted to drive the car that the hero in my teen years drove , which was Jim Clark, the Lotus 49, but it is just too hard for me too control :'(.

I have now opted for the Eagle.

How will the cars be allocated Wally? I think there may be a shortage of Ferrari_312 s.
