Heart says Lola head says Lotus, historic heart winning head.
The Lola is a 10 out of 10 mod, as good as any Kunos car.

thanks Roo, yep over 60, but I have taken the tea towel off my head and had a coffee and coming to grips with this extremely depressing situation :) (I had thought of installing desktop publisher and skinning a Merc with transparent turret, but I won't :) )
I can take change, I will take the open top ones for some laps hahaha

yeh, and the Merc has power steering and brakes and electric windows, none of that on the Lola

How many laps were you thinking Phil, with a compulsory pitt stop ? Average lap time is about 1m30s.

That was a tremendous race with Mael. We were pretty close for most of the race, with Mael in front except for when he made one little mistake and I could get in front for a while. His Lotus had too much speed down the back straight for my Lola though. Really good racing.

The track could not have been better designed for the Lotus, it almost felt like cheating! Made a nice gap to Wally after the pit stop sequence but lost concentration and had a nice 200kph spin in the middle of the track allowing Wally past. Bit of hard work to get in front again with a safety first first approach in the last few laps.
Sadly the next few tracks would probably not be so advantageous for the Lotus :(

That Lola is a blast to drive! Had a couple of good battles that lasted a few laps each and really enjoyed the race. Thanks guys 8)

How often do you get to race and watch a race at the same time, had a ball behind Bruce and Imp until Imp blew his motor. I could stay close enough to watch the action but not pass, their battle did not slow them down either ! Had a disconnect from the server when I pitted, and when I rejoined the server, my pitstop was not registered and I was then Black Flagged on lap 28, still an enjoyable night. I really like the number of converts to the Lola, as I said, as good a car as any Kunos creation. Stuff the "Merc" eh Bruce ;D

Disappointingly inconsistent from me in part due to no practice and not driving the car before. Had a few good moments and a lot of bad mostly my own fault.
Sorry to Gratulin, I got by on the long straight and was ahead through the following right. I thought I had more of a gap than I did and came across the apex of the left, suddenly saw he was inside me, tried to correct but that correction plus the side by side contact spun me off. My fault, should have given more racing room.
I then had an okay stint in a battle with Seanus until he spun on the last corner. I thought I saw a space to floored it but he bounced across the track and we were both near the back. He pitted infront of me some time later so I stayed out for one more and came out way ahead, not sure why. Was in a pack of cars then and put it some good laps, had a good chase and pass on AJ, all going well and then I had a brain fade and forgot what gear I was into coming into the first sweeping left and spun out. After that it went downhill with a few more mistakes.
Hopefully better next week.

Joe, you needed to look DOWN to see the Lola. Sorry also for the tap. I might have pushed my luck a bit.

I had a ball, great track, put in the practice and had the little Lola setup for me nicely.
Didn't realise it was a 30 lap race, I admit it made me hesitate a bit, but it turned out to be the best scenario for all the cars at this track.
Plenty of hard fought laps with Gratulin, man that was fun, with rooshooter chipping away and gaining on our little tryst!
Checked the pit stop timing, although I only took on tyres, my crew are not used to doing a race pit stop, and took a few seconds longer than your crew Andrew, hence me exiting the pits after you . Didn't effect my enjoyment!
Had some good runs, slipped past Denis when I was baulked by a slower car. and bad luck on the exit/black flag, you had that Mercedes humming.
Had some hard laps with Seanus and Joe, but so happy with a 6th place in such an exclusive group :)

Apart from that a ding dong race, took Bruce out early by out braking myself,
I found it tricky in the early races, the Lolas don't have a brake lamp making rather hard! Didn't spoil my race, just one of those incidents.

Only had driven, practiced and raced that track and car that night of the race so I was trying to get a decent setup in a small time frame. The Lola is nice to drive but limited setup time made my brakes a little uncomfortable under hard stomping lol.
First lap of the restarted race saw me drift a little wide on cold tyres and lost steering as I drifted off the circuit into the wall. I thought my race was done when I re-entered the track in last position.
Noticeably catching up to the back of the pack, overtaking one by one and caught up to Seanus and Joe. Unfortunately for me, Seanus was extremely unpredictable when trying to pass and hit the brakes on multiple occasions to lock up the front wheels and drift off circuit. Happened at least 4 times until I caught up yet again and witnessed Seanus and Joe colliding and spinning after the last corner. Took the advantage and finally passed. Somehow I predicted that would happen with the erratic driving I saw.
Later in the race, seeing the leaders pitting and I'm putting in consistent laps, saw my position climb to top 3 and my own strategic pit stop saw me slide in to position 3 with plenty of gap between 4th place. Only needed to finish the remainder laps and complete the race.
