Title: Season 9 PROPOSAL WIP

Pick your car on the warmup pre-season races June 8th.
June 15th Round 1 Season will start, same Bat Time, same Bat Channel.
Phil will call the format dependant on track.
"Sophistication and Style Season 9 !"

Car Choices:
Porsche 718 RS 60 Spyder
Alfa Romeo GTA

Qualify Time: 8:15pm
Race Time: 8:30pm

June 22nd:
Race 1: Track: Mid Ohio - with Chicane Track Download (http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/mid-ohio-with-chicane.14509/). <--- may need an alternative if it shakes out as crap.
June 29th.
Race 2: Track: Gentrack1 Track Download (http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/gentrack1.2541/).
July ??th.
Race 3: Track: Tor Poznań Track Download (http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/tor-pozna%C5%84.6118/).

I thought this Thursday was already the Skippy at Road America? Happy either way, but was looking forward to racing the Skippy.

Bruce, I think it is Skippy for fun run this week then your Season 9 starting the following week.

Too much open wheeler action to have Skippy on Thursdays while Exos is running on Tuesdays!!!

you had me interested until i read 6 laps..  I know these cars aren't superfast.. but cmon.. 10 laps is a short enough race.

I would like to run your season next :)   unless of course was an overwhelming want for the Skippy,  but i love your car selection and already have the server up with them :)

I have track download from RD but server says I don't have track content for some reason.

I can run track ok offline though. You heard of AC Offline mode Phil?

I am not sure, I am using the same track and updated the server with latest version,  I just restarted the server , does that help ?

The server didn't have an older version on it with another layout, which wouldn't have been overwritten with the update? ???

Give it a try now Bacculum. Looked like the server maybe had an older version as it only had a single surfaces.ini for a single layout. The version I just downloaded had 3 layouts so I updated the server with each layout and the surfaces.ini for each.

Don't want to cause ructions but this track is too tough for a Thursday. We want "drop-in" drivers to be able to handle the circuit without too many issues. Regular drivers don't necessary practice that much. Mid Ohio might be a good alternative since most seem to know that track?

yep  I thought the one with the chicane would keep the speed down, at least on that portion of the track for the drop ins

Man am I glad I defined the incorrect Porsche to the one I had in mind! Man this little Porsche is one I want in real life, (after I have a huge lottery and my Holman Moody Fairlane is on order!).

That  is a fun/driver's car, handle well, controlled so smooth!   I have a feeling in my waters, this may be a Porsche season!

Now Phil, your thoughts, can we fix the setup except for tyre pressures and fuel?  Lets make interesting. There is an imp telling me, (No not Imperious :) ) the fastest top x may need to run the slower car, which ever that is the next week?  Or can we control the overall performance without compromising the individual characteristics?

I am happy to do a fixed setup and I will use restrictior to slow some down, that should not affect handling like ballast
