Quite like the aesthetic.

Though I know that tire size has been selected for a particular driving dynamic, I don't think I could help myself, it would have to get bigger rubber.

Also enjoying your rapidly changing avatar Bruce, you've obviously got quite the collection of shots to work through. Glad to hear you'll be returning home to Koolsville soon where you belong.

Glad to hear you are on your way home Bruce.

You must have had some heart stopping moments when towing the van with the Humpy, if getting it off the line on the flat was a problem, a very smelly clutch on occasion I would imagine. One downside of a lumpy cam :(

“We started our 60th anniversary year with the glorious throwback Sprint – aimed at the more discerning chap or lady driver,” Graham Macdonald, Caterham chief executive, said in the news release.
I guess this precludes me on both counts  ;D

I am bored humper, both from lack of physical work and from the drugs mentally holding me back, doesn't take much :)
So with old humpy's colour change the avatar needed visiting and glad Phil you enjoyed the slide show too haha.
As to the van, the other problem was not stopping/deeaccelorating, it was being caught stopping on an uphill!
I would'nt got it the line, plus
With semi-huck brakes I would not stop it running away in reverse, if were to be caught on a steep uphill, so the few times i had to plan the trip around min inclines.
It was like a navigation plan by the SAS in northern Africa hahaha.

This may work?

Great van Bruce, I am amazed at your patience to overcome obstacles in pursuit of your dreams, mapping out a trip route with minimal inclines , incredible. I did not consider not being able to stop the car and van from rolling backwards, scary. From watching one of your other  videos is that the "Marauder" in the foreground and what car is it exactly? not having heard of one.

We purchased the '58 GMC to tow it, as we could only do short trips in the FJ, it wasn't designed for it.
My wife never saw the bondwood van as 5 stars, so we have sold that.
The Marauder is a 1963&1/2 S55, giving it a "Sizzler Pack".  Console shift, fast back, special wheel caps. If your check YouTube 1963 NASCAR Riverside, you will see them racing. They have the 426 & and 4 speed.
I loved it, there are only a few in Australia. I didn't get it finished, but we used it for years. Sold that earlier this year along with the Buick.
Koolsville is where Denise and live :)
We moved to Beaumaris when I got sick.
