Congratulations Bacchulum, Mael and Wally.
Big thanks to Phil for once again guiding us through a super Season!
Pleased to hear the track was as I hoped it would be, I was disappointed to have missed this round.

attending A Celebration of Beaumaris Mid-Century Architecture, so that at least is compensation
I was looking forward to this tight street circuit. Have fun.
Hi wally. Thanks mate.Welcome Psquire45, your GUID, you can find in documents/assetto corsa/cfg/race.ini.
Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: Let me know if you can't make a race, for reserves« on: August 13, 2017, 10:44:03 AM »
Wally can you slip me into the reserves please? I know I will not make the 32 laps in race 2, I'll be happy for someone else to jump in my space.

DBJ congratulations on the win, you certainly deserved, and if I was a fatalist, from your write up, with the late download and short practice and just jumping in time, it was destined!
Your race report is one of the best I have read here, you certainly captured all the emotions... great race, you drove the pants off that car!
I think I just need to say, I enjoyed the race and survived it better than I thought. I had forgotten it was an eduro and when I heard Phil mention CPS, ohhh, checked the laps, 42! Well the adrenaline, with DBJ on fire, Robin and roo pushing hard, the laps disappeared quickly.
Happy to have the inside position for turn one and managed to get and hoped to eke out the early lead. I started to worry when my tyres were still showing 100%, I hadn't done a long session and thought, ohh, the tyre report may be wrong and was waiting for an wild off.
My mental arithmetic is crap, I stuffed up remaining laps/fuel quantity and languish in the pits for longer than needed, and Joe drove past!
That being said, I a few seconds less would't have changed the outcome.
Certainly felt some of the crashes, man they did look spectacular and me coming close to having a major loose down the man straight, wise decision to back off DBJ, I think I was mostly a passenger even if I did recover, and better to well out of the way.
I did think you were joking when your commented; "What do I do now?", but you got it!
Pleased to see firebolt, nice racing, a tough starting point.
(PS I did get confused between firebolt/DBJ, sorry)

I now know I can't put in the full night's racing and can only manage the sprint. That being said, If a spot is needed I am happy to give up my spot.
Well I couldn't put in a PB for qual, but with a good start and watching well forward moved up from 20th spot to 14th and believed I was in for a full fight for all the race. A small incident at the hairpin let a couple slip but my mistake running through the esses I floated through in 5th, subsequently lost the back nearing the righthander... that's okay, a bit of sand, but taking the direct line across the outside "bitumen" I found it was a "tar pit", man the escort just pulled through the "glue", which turned to oil when I hit the track! GRRRR
This gave Rob and I our usual opportunity to swap places and have a ding dong battle to line.
Rob i noticed on the replay, both of us had a shaking bonnet and some suspension problems, must added to the fun.

short track is better, nice flow, with some tricky bits entering the home straight!
It is the first time I have blown a tyre/lost a wheel in AC! it was a huge uncontrolled jump!
Lots of new tracks available from NoGrip
kowabunga! off to have a look, thanks Denis.

Bacchulum, you certainly drive the pants off that Alfa! I had little no incumbrance and you always found away to "glide" past me!
I am glad I didn't push any the passing opportunities as towards the end of the race I had some moments that I was about to exit the race.
Great race night, enjoyed being up close and pushing most of the race. Good to see Imp back and event better to have been within contact for most of the race!
See you next Thursday.
Thanks Phil for all the work.
