After much thought I have decided to keep tonight as it is for the reason this season was Bruces baby and I think he would of liked us to finish his season,

Cobra fun runs will be after this last round
You are right Phil, it will still be a fitting tribute to Bruce ( and what he would have wanted us to do) and we can do "The Cobra the whole Cobra and nothing but the Cobra" later :'(.

Ok , why not. Does anyone still have a copy of the Dick skins we could all use ;D or would that be too complicated? What do you see if you do not have the skin package?

Can make the final round but can someone tell me which cars are available.Don't want to do 2hrs practice then find out I can't use that car.
I am sure if you just pick the car you prefer, Phil could add one to the server.

For all the time I have been simracing  Flattop has been there as well, we shared a passion and affinity for all things historic. Historic Thursdays exists because of Bruce his patience had no bounds to keep things going on Thursday nights, often at the expense of his own enjoyment. He new how to make any newcomer feel welcome and if you happen to eventually win he would make that special as well. That is why we have so many people  who are proud to be part of the xgn family. I always expected to see out my simracing days with Bruce along for the ride as well. Rest in Peace Bruce it was a pleasure and priveledge to race with you
I would like to propose we now call Thursday Fun Nights, Flattop Thursdays as a permanent memorial.

Congratulations Wally and Joe on the race wins with another night of great racing. Bad luck with internet Rob. Now there is four people vying for 3rd on the podium, but I am going on a short break and my practice will be very limited before next race but at least I know the track. Should be a great final race for this very entertaining season put together by Bruce. See you all next week.

Congrats on the sports award Mael 8)

Congratulations Bird, Bueller and Humper and great to see a win celebrated and bad luck Joe. Another great night of racing for the most part until I hit a length of ARMCO and got stuck in it, the car didn't bounce off but was embedded in it and it took me a while to extricate my car :'(. Thanks for the encouragement Phil, but I think I will probably be in the battle for third place, with Bird and Wally fighting it out for first.
I also would like to say I think the standard of driving here on Thursday nights is excellent, which always makes for a very enjoyable evening, with no win at any cost attitudes being shown :) :) 8).  This would have to be one of the best AC mods there is , and the sounds are just internal combustion engine music ;D

We are having huge thunderstorm by Tassie standards atm and my power has flickered couple of times, so if I don't make the race tonight the server is already to go and just needs ticking over to practice at 7.30
Hope you can still make it Phil.

Not really suited to the 'Vette, though. :-\
Check Phil's time Bacchulum, you just need some more practice ;D. Plenty of fun was had on the practice server last night by the looks and now my time in the Daytona is no longer competitive :(.   Is everyone else getting their car airborne? 8) 8) landing can be tricky !!!

Do we have to do a pit stop tonight Phil?

Airborne? Yep. Sideways airborne tends to end poorly.
So whats Phils time then?
As for the bumping, I think 23 laps will be a challenge.

Yes, I think it will be a case of last man standing but fun anyway.

Phil, the best music DVD of AC/DC, imho, would have to be "Live at RiverPlate" 2009 , 200,000 fans at 3 shows, turn it up sit back and enjoy :) :) 8).

Pcars 2 Demo is now available. Just tried it out and it is horrible. Couldn't even steer straight down the track. FOV all wrong plus something wrong with steering calibration. I didn't have to change a thing in AC after re-installing from scratch. Just some fine tuning to my preference.

I I don't need to be fighting the configuration of a sim just to make it drivable.

After this week's AC XGN racing on Tuesday and Thursday nights I am totally convinced AC is better sim. The focus by Kunos on "just driving" pays off big time.
I fully agree Gratulin , I reached the same conclusion in about the same time but it cost me $100  :'( :'(. You should not have to frig around for ages to get a racing sim to feel right. AC has now reached the stage where I am now completely happy with it and with the current available MODs what more could you want, within reason. 8) 8)

A new wheel  :'( :'(

Only $400...can I resist....
Do it !!! you know you want to ;D
