Pretty sure phil is referring to what i called fake effects in ac. Road, curb and slip.

Cheers shayne. I have mine pretty nice now. It just feels so much stronger than the g27 that my shoulders get sore. May as well cancel my gym membership  ;D

Mine are similar, I don't have abs on and i have for, spr and dpr all set to 100. I tried turning all 3 off at one point and had zero FFB, so I turned them all back on. for me sen shows as AUt for auto.

In AC I've turned kerb, road and slip effects all off because as I've been reading they are 'fake' effects to give you additional feedback through the wheel. Having them off should give you the correct feel for the car.

EDIT: Just quickly experimented with for, spr and dpr and seems for AC for is the only setting that makes any difference.

thx marty

Are you trying to find out how much slower than me you are Simone?  ;)

Did a few practice laps and found it a LOT easier than Zandvoort. Bit wider, less bumpy and spinning does not  leave you in the middle of the track.

Hopefully Phil can knock up a setup for us in which would allow the Schumacher-S to be taken flat out!

my last setup is not working as well here :(
but my new setup seems ok, havent tried that bit flat yet,   hope i can do it flat though so my times get better

Did you put it on stracker? Still waiting for baby to fall asleep so i can get my fix...

Hardware & Reviews / G27 for sale
« on: January 13, 2017, 09:54:13 AM »
Selling my G27. Approx 2 years old (with an 8 months in that period not used). Pedals have the GTEye spring mod.

Ebay tells me the trending price is $250, so $200 for the any XGN members. Sydney pick up or could get a quote to post.

Cheers

Apps / Re: Tyre Pressure Engineer
« on: January 13, 2017, 09:32:06 AM »
Can you post the ideal tire pressures for the latest build?  I'm on PS4 and I can't use your app.  :-[
Download the app and unzip it, and you'll see a file with all of the ideal pressures.

Unfortunately, since I don't have a Steam account, I cannot download the app.  The forum will not let me.  Is there somewhere else I can get it?

Go to the first post of this thread. It's attached at the bottom.

Cheers shayne. Would be good to know what settings you have too.

I did a firmware upgrade when i plugged it all in and then had to do the shifter calibration to get it working at all so seems all good.

yep i set to 100% and let ffb clip do its stuff, I presume that wheel has on baord settings , if so I set mine like this

Cool thanks. I just tried the praga and was getting a lot of stong feedback just from the road so dropped down the road effects in ac.

What settings do you have in ac under advanced?

Actually i just remembered I'm using a custom lut generated from my g27. Should change that.

Two last places finishes due to a dodgy track..  :o

That was what happened in the first race, only the hole is invisible until you fall down it  ;D

Yah the shifter is also a huge step up. The G27 is just cheap plastic with no real feel when you changed gear. I didn't spend the extra $80 for the sequential one as I knew I'd never use it in sequential mode so it only came with the round knob. The box still had a space for the other one, just no knob :D

Do you have your wheel on 100% ffb then use the ffb clip app? The ffb was so much stronger but I liked it.

How do I always find all the glitches...

First race I struggled due to unfamiliarity. Yesterday I changed the damper and spring on my brake pedal and only gave it a quick test so that was different. New wheel and shifter were different but in an awesome way. Fanaleds was also making my brake pedal and wheel vibrate when locking up which was distracting so I disabled that after I fell into the bottomless pit.

Second race started first, made mistakes and lost places, then finally got some rhythm and had a nice battle with Seanus until he went wide and onto the grass at T1 around lap 7 or 8 putting me into 2nd. I then found the next glitch and got the car stuck.

Two last places finishes due to a dodgy track..  :o

Awesome!

Make sure you let us know what the new setup is like compared to your old.  I've been keeping an eye on the CSL combo myself hoping there might be a special.

Happy Birthday - whenever that may be....

Dude compared to the G27 if feels amazing. I've never used a T300 or anything to compare to, so I can just say it's a massive step up from the G27. The smoothness and the feedback are soooo much better. The shifter is also really nice.

Bruce mentioned some images now it's all set up.

You can see here where I had to drill the third hole for the front screw in my wheel plate. Only just had enough room.

Here are a couple all set up
