Just discovered a parameter in the system/cfg/assetto_corsa.ini file under [DAMAGE]. Parameter is GLASS_THRESHOLD=0.65. Wonder what affect, if any, that has?

Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: Krahl's Dedi Server is up« on: October 24, 2014, 01:09:49 PM »To add to Gratulin's informative & helpful post, if you feel your modem isn't up to scratch you can try something new...First thing would be to simply turn it on if not already on. Most router have a default categorisation of traffic. Problem will be that it mostly sets video and audio streaming to high priority which is the opposite to what you want. 1848

It's a pickup server, called AUS www.xgn.com.au TUE DEDI.Wally, could we have some fun with the LaFerrari on the trial server? 1849
Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: Krahl's Dedi Server is up« on: October 24, 2014, 11:20:16 AM »I am 99% sure my warping issues are to do with either the line to my house or my shitty router. I have no issues when nobody else is using the net - it's quite good actually. As soon as my partner fires up Chrome my ping jumps - the more traffic the more jumping/warping I get.Cramjet, if you have access to your router you should be able to set QoS on for the AC protocols. Since AC doesn't use much bandwidth but requires a low ping that might mitigate the impact of others on your network. Also, double check that you are not "double NATing" ie do you also have a hardware firewall between the telco router and your LAN. I have turned my Optus cable modem into Bridge mode to avoid that problem and because it too was a shitty router. 1850

I have just read that if the standard track map doesn't work in a track and you don't want to use the modder's MapDisplay app then you can fix it easily.
1. Delete "map.png" from track's folder and delete "map.ini" from track's Data folder. You can just move them to a backup location if you wish. 2. Run AC and launch the game in that track. You may get a crash of the game at this point. If you do then simply relaunch the game. 3. AC has then built a new track map for you. Only do this if the standard map is not working. I've tried this out on this Cobra season's tracks and all are now working with a standard track map. 1855

Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Season 3 round 5: Imola Results« on: October 22, 2014, 02:03:04 PM »If you listen to the calm conversations some of the guys have while driving then you quickly work out that they need something extra to do to keep them occupied while drivingI've got a lot to learn in these road cars! I feel at home in a GT car or open wheeler, but had nothing in these. Are you guys using a H-shifter + manual clutch, blipping etc? I'm pretty hopeless at that sorta stuff so I chucked on auto clutch/blip and just used the paddles :p Me - I'm busy enough just trying to not run into anyone! Having said that the H-shifter is really fun in the Cobra and it only has 4 gears! 1859

All good Freezer. I'm glad you told me on TS you were waiting for me because that woke me up and meant neither of us lost too many positions I usually lose lots of places after an off.
