I wonder what the optimal pressures are for the Skip Barber

For the current build it's 33psi front and rear. Temps from just under 75 to just over 95. These values are just lines in .ini files so I don't know how they are derived or even if they are just made up. Would take way to much experimenting to figure out what changes with what.

The Ideal pressure can be moved around depending on what sort of experience you're after, a hard to heat tyre or a hard to keep cool tyre or and easy optimal tyre. Thinking out loud I guess that's why it's just an arbitrary line in the tyre file so the rest of the tyre definitions can do the hard calculations and the psi acts as a fine tuning multiplier.

Many people running this tonight? I was gonna do Nords just because it's Tuesday and I have nothing else to do (my other addiction is an MMORPG android game where servers have maintenance on Tuesdays), but I've done no practice so can see it getting boring hotlapping and crashing on my own. This seems more fun.

EDIT: How are we gonna deal with TeamSpeak? Can you create two rooms?

So long as you call this race "Pussy Run" :)

On TS, the men at the green hell can use the AC room, and the boys can use the Racing Lobby, for example.

I think drivers will need to post a photo of injuries to qualify for pussy run ;)

That's the only acceptable excuse.

I was just going to have no practice, 5 min qual and 8 lap race x2 second race reversed per session , so we can do a few short races,  if any of us juniors think thats too many laps or would like a different format  let me know :)

Is the Skippy working online? The last error we encountered had me worried.

For anyone on this server tonight,(although I think we should all at least start the Nords enduro as having 'critical mass' can be important to an events future popularity), please take note of what the Skippy drives like. I'd like some feedback and to get a feeling of what members think makes a good car, whatever that may be.

Cheers

The skip barber proved to be a fun car and with practice would produce some great racing for a season.  It reminds me of the 1500 open wheeler in NetKar Pro, fun to drive, push it and you just loose time, softly softly pays off. Certainly a good option when your looking for a season's car and you have had enough of the Cobra!  ::)
