There was a bit of a concertina effect when Mael disco’d that caught up a few cars.

Race 3
Myself, Bacchulum and Killa were 3-wide going up the hill, and there was a bit of a side contact between Bacchulum and Killa which spun Bacchulum  - racing incident.

So what's the deal with the sausage curb on the last corner here? You can run the left side of it and not get a cut and gain a fair bit of time.

If PLP doesn't ping you, go for it. The Supercars often run to the left of that kerb, but I think it's frowned upon.

Don't worry about Joe, we'll just run him into the old pitlane wall if he cheats on that last corner  ;D

BTW how did the ACC enduro go last night Wally?

I started on wets in rain which was only light. Bad move. I learned last night that slicks are better in light rain - they stay a bit cold, but that's better than the overheated wets if it's not wet enough.

If PLP doesn't see it, is it really cheating?  :o

I was just raising it for consistency. I was making sure I was right of the curb apart from one lap where I messed it up but then gained a couple of 10ths. That said, if everyone is doing, why not  8)

Yeah, only pulling your leg, it is a legitimate problem on this track for us and the Supercars IRL  :)

I'm not so worried if the driver re-enter the track over the curb, the most time can be gained by re-entering the track after the sausage curb ends, you can gain about 1/2 a second from memory. But hopefully not many drivers would take that option since its quite obvious against the track designers intention. And if a driver does it by mistake (Out-braking oneself at that last corner is almost inevitable) then we can only hope the driver would slow down to give the advantage gained back.

Well said Mael. I would hope that people will make their best effort to stay to the right of the kerb, but you won't get pinged for running wide there.

Congratulations to Freezer on the round win.

Congratulations also to AGK, who has been slowly but steadily moving up the all time rankings here. He's currently sitting at #13 in the all time rankings.

Race 1 was good and clean right behind kcender the whole race. We had about the same pace so no chance of pass. Looking at race stats was about a 0.5 sec gap between us from lap 2 till the end.

Race 2 was going okay having a good chase trying to get past Brad until I put the left rear on the gravel exiting to the back straight and spun. had to wait for most of the field to go to safely rejoin. Spun again a few laps later. Car was pretty dead so retired.

Race 3 started second last and had a great opening lap up to 6th or 7th but then got tangled up with Rob and Phil and ended up against the wall facing the wrong way and back to last. Wally, Phil, Rob and Killa were about 8 secs ahead battling so I took advantage of the the sausage curb for a few laps to catch up then had a few good final laps racing.

Three great races.  No time to test at all this week, suspect I embarrassed myself with how slow I was in the French rocket but it did allow me to have great racing.

Good stuff with Mael and AGK race 1.
Good stuff with Freezer in race 2, I think I had the lead for 1.5 corners...
Good stuff with the rest of the field (esp. Kcender) in race 3 after I messed up lap 1.

BMWs were quick off the line and by the time my tyres were ready to go the pace difference wasn’t enough for a clean pass.
