Assetto Corsa / Re: AC News

"Assetto Corsa 1.4 will be released today on Steam, introducing a new netcode prediction algorithm that is now used to handle missing packets that used to generate warps and lags, resulting in a more stable and consistent online experience. Enjoy it with the new Lotus 25, available by today (9.00 PST) on Steam!"

Is that them actually admitting their bug caused warping?  ;D

Assetto Corsa / Re: AC News

"Dear AC followers, Kunos Simulazioni is proud to introduce the newest track developed for Assetto Corsa, the iconic Brands Hatch circuit, that will be included in the Dream Pack 3, available on Steam from 12.15.2015!
The Brands Hatch circuit in Assetto Corsa
The development of this famous and challenging circuit required 6 months of work, making Brands Hatch the fourth circuit added to Assetto Corsa during 2015, after the Nordschleife, Zandvoort and Barcelona. As showed in the following video, Kunos Simulazioni development team has reproduced the track paying attention to all those details and reference points used by real drivers, thanks to the massive use of Laserscan technology. that guarantees the maximum accuracy: stay tuned for other information!"

Apps / Re: Logitech G19 Live Data

Apart from the screen, what makes it worth $250?

No idea. Quite a lot of gaming keyboards are that sort of price. Has lots of programable buttons, USB ports, volume controls etc. You can also change the backlight colour which obviously makes you a better gamer.

Can you add me to the bottom of the list please wally. I'm keen but the little fella has been keeping me from racing the last few weeks.

Joe, want to make a quick 10% on the keyboard? :)

Haha nah I'm good. I wonder if they'll see their error and update their system. It was the last one at the time, but maybe they'll put more out.

There was a $250 price tag on the box but somehow that'd fallen off by the time I got to the checkout  ::)

Apps / Logitech G19 Live Data
« on: November 23, 2015, 10:35:02 PM »
I was in the market for a new gaming keyboard and Dick Smith had the Logitech G19s priced totally wrong at $70 when at most places it's around $250.

It has a little LCD screen on it, so being the nerd I am I downloaded the SDK and wrote an app to display live info from AC. In the video I'm holding the camera with one hand and driving one handed with an xbox controller hence the wrong gear changes and crashing before I get to third!

Unsure if anyone else has this keyboard, but if you do and want the app let me know.
