Interesting take at about 6:20 on how drivers use TC and ABS in a race.  TC is primarily used in endurance racing to minimize wheelspin to protect the tyre life, rather than lap times. They also have many levels of ABS to choose from. They increase the TC as the race goes on to keep the rear under control on worn tyres.
