Good question. The Porsche is a beast but it was nearly $200 off in Big W so I couldn't help myself. Assume the Caterham will be quite a lot simpler.

My brother just got the Opera House.  Not sure how many pieces put I think it was in the thousands!

Yeah the porsche and opera house are nearly 3000 pieces. Biggest set I have. Was nearly 200 bucks off so couldn't help myself.

Finally finished the Porsche. The thing is huge, hard to tell in the picture. It has a fully working gearbox and drive train, flappy paddles to make it change gear and stuff. Very cool if you like this kind of thing  8)

Hi Bruce: How does this work? Looks like it has 2 forward gears and a rear one engaged purely by sliding the on each other! No synchro, no dogs, nothing...  I am probably wrong as I am... well, ignorant, but I am very fascinated.
