Team XGN
« on: October 15, 2013, 09:01:05 AM »
Well, after a period of no show with the v8,the latest mount panorama race gave me the motivation to take a race and compete with  my beloved team XGN seat at the very, very ,very hard oran park track.Qual with a time of 1:07.9  not very flashy but not too bad, strenght of fields not too strong but there were few ppl that do not make too many discounts and so after one hour racing, controlling the steering wheel,be patient with the throttle and brakes, saving the tyres and looking out for other drivers,i finished the race in a positive 8th  8) it would have been better if I had not over filled the tank, infact I ended the race with 20 lt too much and wating time in the pits,but.....with so many ppl the competition has grown so much that finishing the race is a success.Infact in the past has not been  easy to finish a race at Oran Park.
..........and WHAT A FUN NIGHT!!

Team XGN is go, metal has volunteered to lead us with setups and advice,  (thx mate ;D) so is there anything we need to do to consummate this new team or do we just drive around.

Ps, setup for porsche is nice metal. Hopefully keep doing 14's consistantly for race. Man it's going to be an epic drive.

Advice?....During official race at mount panorama, never ever trying do something different than from the practice,,,those wall are magnets...

It would be nice to have an iracing Xgn skins for those porsches, and sporting them on world wide arena.....but I know it will never happen, ::)

If you can keep that time for 25 minutes at Bathurst...well...I told you, you`ll be in the shower with a smile. ;D

well done, chasing can be just as fun and sometimes safer in iracing

I should have a go at iracing sometime, I have a sub but havent had a race in a while,  I got taken out and swore i would never race again due to being annoyed at losing tons of points through no fault of my own, anyway it might be time again
