Of all the backwater tracks. Can't believe they have done my local track. You can see my house in a couple of those screen shots!
I haven't tried it yet. (having huge G27 v new computer issues) But it sure isn't a flat track. not Mt Panorama either. Looks like they have done very well. I can only assume the modder is from Perth and thank fek he didn't just mod Clearmont speedway.

Yes they threw money at the venue a couple of years ago. Racers love the track layout but the facilities where very sub par. Still needs a lot more done really.
But yes the biggest change being shifting pit lane to the center field.

As far as I can tell, Darren is from the UK.

OK, estimated line length is 368m which should good.

Now curiosity has the better of me I am actually going to measure how far I can throw a stone.... any specific weight?

You can be too close to the switch. You aren't, but some people are.

Thanks Wally for all your hard work organising.

Big Thanks to norbs & Wally for all the organising & to XGN for use of their server to host the event

To be fair, Wally has done 95% of the work.

Thanks Wally.

I hope they see ours in good humour, as intended. There are a lot of stiff shirts out there who are frightened and angry at the absurd.. Instead of being intrigued and amused. stepping outside the box will not harm you. It will only make you grow... Unless there are tigers outside that box i guess..

and maybe put in simple instructions thanks Wally.
"unzip to your Assetto Corsa folder"

We sure do. Many an ARSE member has stepped outside the box, and then stepped outside the box that box was in, and then stepped outside the box that box was in, and then stepped outside the box that box was in! If you catch my drift. Drift, sorry, I can't drift to save myself. Now, where was I and what happened to my box? ARSE!

Quick question from one of our potential racers Wally. TC and ABS will be off on the server I assume?

Apps / Re: A utility: AC Replay Grabber
« on: November 03, 2014, 07:37:09 AM »
This worked well for me last Tuesday. It just automatically kept a copy of the replay file every time I quit back to the launcher. The game never prompts me to save the online replay on race nights.

One of our guys said the same thing Wally. But every time I jump out of a server I get the option to save a replay.

I am pretty sure he said it was an in game option. Will ask him.

Inter-League Challenges / Re: ARSE challenge.

What about adding up all the laptimes for each team and collectively we know which team is faster?

I can give you an indicator;  they seem to be lining up an old ace team from the LFS times.  These guys used to run Darren-quick, and there's 5-6 of them at least.  Hopefully some of them are rusty.

One is actually running in the Porsche cup, so hopefully he won't have time to participate, or practice much....

Hence my sadness over Darren's capitulation.

You sound worried Steve?

Updated our discussion and have a few volunteers.  ;)

I'm norbs.

Live on the South coast NSW.

Hang around ARSE most of the time.

Been SIM Racing on and off since early 90s.

Give me room on the track. If I don't know where I am going, how do you? ;)

I have no idea what the skill levels of the XGN guys is like, but there are a few handy steerers at ARSE. Should make for a fun competition.

I will be in touch soon Wally.
