Have they fixed America's Army?  No pun intended   It had great promise, but was rather rubbish early on - full of game-stopper bugs.

The current release is a Beta for the upgrade, no game-stoppers now... and new maps coming on as modders are creating them.

Always bad timing/luck when the PC fails. lets hope it doesn't cost you too much trouble or money... see you soon.

Ran a couple laps in the practice server, should be a good fun combo. Quite tricky and technical track in these and you must resist the urge to drift this low powered beast. Also I dont think going over the kerbs is the quick way as I saw others try this and generally end up failing hard into a wall or just losing time.

For the race nite make sure you adjust the race wait time to at about 50 seconds I think is good. The practice server lights go straight up so it gives people no time to adjust fuel etc before the race and probably many wont even make the grid.

Also I got disconnected from the server, I thought maybe it got taken down but now I see it in the lobby with very high ping around 1000 so maybe something is up with your server.

Time for an change and seeing there is a large disparity in times for the few laps cut already at Adelaide, I thought I would attemtp a "handicap race"

Race 1: 5 Lap Sprint,

• standing start,
• qualifying order

Race 2: 10 Laps,

• Drivers starting in reverse order from "Race 1"
• Last from "Race 1" will go on "Start"
• other drivers will leave @ "Start" + secs.

ie Last driver will head off on "Start"
Next (2nd) driver will be off on "Start" + ( 2nd place driver's 'Gap to 1st' * 2)
Next (3rd) driver will be off on "Start" + ( 3rd place driver's 'Gap to 1st' * 2)
and so on...

I will be using the times from the Race 1 session Stracker results and read out the handicap for each driver during the qual/warmup, most will have 'drive around the grid cars'.. so be careful.

This is the only week I don't want 22 on the grid... na, that would be a hoot!

I usually try and learn the track the day before, but with the long weekend I forgot what day it was and played Witcher last night, oops. Oh well, will make it more fun tonight learning the track right before the race

the good thing is Joe, if your lack of knowledge in the sprint will give you a good advantage in the longer race
