Can just sneak under 2 minutes a lap on fresh rubber.
So I'll leave the maths with you guys

Same for me on default set (final ratio tweak only). I know I can tweak fuel and brake bias but not sure on tyre pressures so haven't touched yet...

After getting a bit more serious times are improving dramatically. However the last time I just did is invalid as I lost it off the kerb through the last, fishtailed it over to the right wall just as I was approaching the line. I did lose a second because of the stuff up though....:-)

Had a race yesterday with rooshooter and I couldn't get into gear off the start. Just stayed in neutral until well after the green light...... :'(
Hope it's just a one off. Finally get a clutch happening again and still lost 10 lengths off the start.

On a brighter note HUGE thanks to rooshooter for helping me out with the clutch....Haven't had one for 18months...it's like having new pedals..... ;D

I think you can only select a gear after the green light. I use the paddles and only click the paddle after the red lights are extinguished
then with max throttle feather clutch at about 50%.

Did a heap of practice starts and I can get it off the line nicely, just wasn't expecting it to happen as it's my first race start with clutch on AC. Dunno which bright spark at Kunos thought that was a good idea..... >:( ::)

It's been a long-standing bone of contention on the AC forums. I think it's because the game has no way of penalising you for a false start.

sorry guys, will be there tonight, and I will practice before hand, promise  (been having trouble stringing more than a few minutes together concentration for racing, FPS has been okay, I get shot within ~30 seconds and get a rest to next round :) )

Hang in there Bruce. Hope you start improving soon.

And you have to be there tonight, I'll get lonely at the back of the field.

Slideways and I have just done a 28 lap race(he 28 me 20) this is not the Pitstop Track !!!!
Slideways had to short shift for last 3 laps. We can leave as is and drop number of laps or change to the
Multiplayer Pitstop track.

Didn't go overly hard in race and knew I was in trouble with 6 or 7 to go and had to drop 4-5s a lap for the last 4 to just get home. Tyres were a breeze though... ;)

I'm a bit rusty with Thursday nights so will need someone to explain to me what the go is.  Will download track tonight and hopefully someone will be around from 7:30 or so to explain it.  :)
