Can't join server, get acs_x86.exe has stopped working message, but can join Marty's F1 server OK.
Any ideas? When server first appears all car selections are blinking, then all ok.
Edit: All fixed, think it may have been wrong version of track.

v1.0 of the track has just been released. Im just downloading the HD version which is 1GB  I think the regular SD version on RD will be much smaller.
Any links to the HD version?

I think if you are over 55 or should I say 60 you can keep your current car. Shameless excluded, if he prefers the Lotus.
thanks Roo, yep over 60, but I have taken the tea towel off my head and had a coffee and coming to grips with this extremely depressing situation  (I had thought of installing desktop publisher and skinning a Merc with transparent turret, but I won't )
I can take change, I will take the open top ones for some laps hahaha

yeh, and the Merc has power steering and brakes and electric windows, none of that on the Lola

Went to give this a try but found I couldn't select a gear with paddles, but worked fine off-line. Why is that?
It might be an autoclutch setting on the server?
Nope, don't have auto clutch enabled, and paddles work on Marty's other server which has autoclutch disabled

And the lesson from race 2 is, don't get stuck on the outside of a slow car (the Lola). Watch everyone else pass on the inside.
That was the highlight of the race for me too, passing 2 cars on one corner. Unfortunately the lowlight was soon after, missed my braking point at the end of the straight and took out Bruce. So sorry Bruce, felt so bad.

The session details shows several people did not pit?
Yeh, once again it says I did not pit, but I did on lap 17 for tyres and the session laps times (2.01) show that. Was originally going to try running the race on the 1 set of tyres and only pit for 1 litre of fuel, but with 5 laps to go the car was feeling a bit iffy. Pitted while I was in the lead and came out 3rd (I think) but narrowly ahead of about 5 cars, but the new tyres kept me ahead . Good racing again.

Sorry guys (and gawaterman in particular), the powerboard where I have my wheel and a few other things plugged into seems to have just kicked the bucket.
That was 50% my fault, saw you spinning and instead of backing off thought I would just dodge you. That didnt work!Horrible 1st race with lots of off's, and crashes.Think every time I had an incident I would lose concentration and have 2 more. 2nd race was much better, my 1st win for as long as I can remember (not that that's long) and a whole race without a crash or an off. You really need to concentrate hard with these cars, and slowly learning that slower is quicker. Just had a look at the results and 13 crashes in R1 then 0 crashes in R2

Haven't noticed it but like Joe I have AC installed on an ssd, so maybe thats the difference?
