Logged Gratulin Moderator Hero Member Posts: 2159 Karma: 44 Round 6 TT circuit assen motorsport « Reply #6 on: February 19, 2016, 08:37:02 AM » It was great. Quite technical - plenty of corners looked similar but have different radius. Really good flow to it when you got it right. We all found creative 'racing lines' that didn't necessarily include the actual track « Last Edit: February 19, 2016, 09:12:08 AM by Gratulin » Logged AJ Full Member Posts: 503 Karma: 7 Re: Round 6 TT circuit assen motorsport « Reply #7 on: February 19, 2016, 08:46:13 AM » Congrats on the season win Phil Logged humper Jr. Member Posts: 248 Karma: 14 Re: Round 6 TT circuit assen motorsport « Reply #8 on: February 19, 2016, 09:15:10 AM » Yeah congrats Phil on all fronts on and off the track.Really enjoyed racing this season much to my surprise as I usually prefer overpowered cars (don't we all). Thanks everyone for making it a hoot Logged Bruce Global Moderator Hero Member Posts: 3440 Karma: 76 "Look out, I'm comin' through!" Re: Round 6 TT circuit assen motorsport « Reply #9 on: February 19, 2016, 10:29:34 AM » The track was excellent, certainly too technical for me, just couldn’t work out where humper found those extra seconds… nice work.Congratulations to the podiums, a nice fun season, (I can only imagine the others from XGN racing are not allowed a Thursday night sim race, they sure are missing out ).Stoked picking up some good results in this season and really happy following on for a 4th!Thanks Phil and all that sailed this season… on, on… Logged "I refuse to be what you call normal." I have to say I much prefer the more casual nature of the Thursday night races myself, but it could be nicer with a slightly bigger field. It can get pretty lonely at times in the slower cars, especially on the longer tracks Well done on the 4th place too Bruce, and thanks for some great battles during the season. And well done humper, you certainly had the knack for the car; on a couple of the tracks in particular you were settings some blistering lap times! And congrats on the second place to GW too, well done! Eg., Just about all sports train/play on a Thursday night (I know this puts Marty and I out or late for most of the Thursday races) as well as community events, late night shopping, etc. Also, with already having the "main" racing night once a week others may divide their time up between other games that would run on a Thursday night. If you want to get more people attending, maybe there should be a poll to see which night suits people the most. Personally, I think Sunday night is a good one as most people aren't doing anything then and it still leaves Monday night free if people want to have a bit of practice before the Tuesday night league races. The damage after I hit the wall put me off pace and lonely at the back which was a pity, but my own stupid fault.
