Can you get the AI to run your setup? ???
I think so. It's a bit of stuffing around with special events.

1. Copy your setup to Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\system\setups\tatuusfa1 (call it what you like, e.g. imola.ini).
2. Copy folder Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\specialevents\SPECIAL_EVENT_26 to a new folder called SPECIAL_EVENT_99.
3. Edit event.ini in there to change the track, model, cars in the RACE section. Take out all the SKINs (They will be for the F458), and put SETUP=imola for each AI car

Simple, huh?

And then ram into the back of the AIs every time they're way to slow in a corner.
change GUID to 99 as well.

I like it. Looks good, sounds good. Handles quite neutral out of the box. It feels a little "generic" somehow, handling wise.
'American' :)

One of the fast guys online said to increase front and rear wing, reduce ARB and increase coast. I did that and it transformed the handling. You probably already worked that out though ;)

It used to be to avoid the booking system but pretty casual to add you via game id. The guys running it are from OoCR (Out of Control Racing Team). They have a TS server but seemed to be down last night. Try http://digitalrainbow.noip.me/index.php/forum/assettocorsa/6-assetto-corsa-digital-rainbow-server

Last night seemed to be open as a new pickup server. The racing seems to be pretty clean even though I got hit a few times. However, that is mostly me needing to learn how to avoid trouble :)

This is a GTE class car according to the thread and comparable to the BMW M3 GT2. There is some discussion regarding relative performance of the cars but should be interesting to try them out together. I did some races on a server tonight at Imola and did 1:44s. Quick guys were getting down to 1:42s. Nice to drive.

I just imported the .nkt file from the "aim"directory and it seemed to work. I had to import as NetKar file however. This isn't correct is it?

Here's a race setup.
I've been using AIM's suspension travel telemetry to try and control the wheels over the curbs, this is the best I can get it for now.
(wish it had more channels, like ride height, damper speeds and corner loads :()
I've done a 1m46s with 40litres and softs, which are good through half distance, I haven't tested the drop off after that.

Thanks. Feels really stable especially over the curbs. Good for low 1m47s for me with quite a few mistakes. How do you get through that damn chicane :)

Perhaps a lower speed track is better for the Cobra - Longford is a series of straights connected by crash zones :-)
The Cobra is a bit of a handful! Plus it would be good to test the handling/sliding on a tighter circuit.

I have finally worked out how to hold it flat through Copse. I was turning in too early. There are also a lot of other corners where I was turning in too early and then having to open up the steering or get back off the throttle. Ended up taking 1-2 seconds off. Thanks for the advice guys. A very interesting discussion. The telemetry needs to be combined with the correct line through each corner I think.

EDIT: How the heck do you spell telemetry anyway :)
