Lotus Exige. My business partner got one (the flat 4), with a supercharger upgrade ; it's a sub-4s mental machine. And you are dead slow unless you're heel-toeing, which is fine on the street. But on the track you're out in the green stuff in no time if you are pushing it without heel-toe  p.s. I can't properly drive it; I can't heel-toe. My mate can heel-toe, however he can't properly drive, hehe.

I've got a new one, too. Altho in hindsight what for did I get a 3070 card I've no idea, but it runs RDR2 damn well in 4k I tells ya Looks like xmas, too, hehe.

I'd not do it for any money. I'd throw up in my helmet every time so badly I'd not be able to finish 2 laps. And I'd feel absolute shit for days. Damn you guys are old
Can`t race online anymore,i am seriously thinking giving this hobby away.I had a ball the last few races but the last one i had to press the "esc" button in agony. Wrist,arms,neck.....a mess!!
You shouldn't be getting sore. Is your set up OK, seat height, distance from wheel etc etc?
I know what's wrong, the old 9 is resurfacing and he's driving in anger, again!

Well, we only had a b/w TV set when I was a little kid... But before GTL the good times were with LFS. The online part of that is still unparalleled IMO.

Huh? No. This is running on a normal instance - a t2.micro one. However, a normal server does not have the infrastructure to apply geoblocking. For that you need a VPN, a load balancer, and an AWS firewall with geoblocking rules set up. All this is ok for commercial applications, however it's a massive extra cost on a little community server like this. For now all I could think of is to bump up the server to a t2.small, which does double the cost, but still nowhere near as bad as all the extra infrastructure would be. (the monthly cost goes from $10US to $20US) TBH it maybe an idea to tune Apache & mysql a bit, so instead of flopping it'd just reject requests, but it's all time, time, time to play around with these. Anyway, I'll try and do it at some point. For now, blame the friggen script kiddies who run their botnets looking for easy hacks.
