Until I saw the track map, I was getting excited that we were going to be racing on an oval

That's nothing to get excited about  :o :-X

OK, who voted for the scorpio? Surely there must be something wrong with the poll!

I was one of those votes. I liked that car. I voted for that plus the BTCC. The Nissan I kept blowing up, and I think the turbo monster could be difficult in a bigger pack, but I'd happily do any really.

I liked them, but they're not very forgiving. I'd do a season in them, but may be frustrating for some.

It does feel like handful, but the racing was close and good. Turbo added some extra fun. Another season contender for sure. I'd definitely set up a toggle like you did should we race it again as pressing the turbo up/down buttons 12 times down the straight every lap was a bit full on  ;D

I liked these. When I wasn't having technical issues the car was rewardingly challenging to drive and resulted in some surprisingly good and close racing. I would need to adjust how it drive it if we did a season though so I didn't keep blowing shit up.

Haha the man hours wouldn't make it feasible. There are companies in the US that sell them flatpack but they're all CNC machined

Thanks Wally I'm really happy how it's come out. I found some hi res images online and a vector version of the logo then I created what I wanted in Photoshop to the correct dimensions, then had a print company print it on adhesive vinyl. Wasn't cheap but came out awesome. Was a hell of a lot of sanding to get everything smooth before putting them on.

There's lots of custom 3d printed parts in there too I learnt some CAD software so I could make parts. Biggest is the custom apron with the two small LCDs mounted.

I'm out tonight too. Daughter was sick at the weekend and passed it on to me. I've not had much luck this season, hopefully the next will be better!

Sorry for the no show. I never got a chance to get my rig back together and test my pedals are working.
Did you get a fix for your pedals?

I took the load cell out and it had a load of dust and crap all over it. Gave it a good clean and it worked, but haven't had a chance to get the pedals back on the rig and give it a proper test. Hopefully will be okay now, otherwise I'll get a new load cell from fanatec.

Took the load cell out and cleaned everything off and it was working again. I'll try give it a test the next couple of days. Fanatec had replacements cells for 30 bucks if it keeps playing up

May not make it tonight. My 500th race wi have to wait a week.
Having an early night, old man?

I did haha. Had a headache I couldn't shake so went to bed early
