It's all good and working again.  Thanks Grat, Dave and Joe. And thanks Phil for the link. I tried the first suggestion on that link and renamed my AC folder in \Documents and let AC build a new one. The game launched straight away. All I have to do now is re-customize it with the Apps that I want to use. I'll do that one by one and check for any conflicts. Thanks again guys, and look for me in my usual position at the back of the pack. rob

Hey Guys,
I can't get past the Main Menu Screen.
When I try and start a Race (on or off-line) or a Hotlap Session, AC starts to load cars and track and then crashes back to the Main Menu. This happens with default AC cars and tracks and Mod cars and tracks. I have Verified Steam Files, checked that the resolution is 1920x1080 etc. I can find nothing obvious.
I started checking the Logs files in the \Documents Folder but I have no idea what I am looking for. I am not a computer wizard but not a total ludite either, so any advice of what "search" words I should be looking for would be really appreciated.

Brad, don't take it personally, it was just that your TeamSpeak was playing up on Thursday night. Every time you spoke all that came through was incredibly loud, and I do mean LOUD static. It was so annoying and distracting that I almost disconnected from the server.
By the end of the night it was working fine, so its all good now.

Sorry Guys. On the start grid, red lights turn off, drop the clutch, and ................... the phone rings. Bah.
I pulled over so as to not ruin anybodies race, rejoined after phone call but forgot to load setup and wondered why I could not get into 5th down Hangar straight. I had already lost 4 laps so decided to call it a night.

Wally, I definitely don't want to increase your already mammoth workload, but is there any way for AC (or an App) to automatically (repeat, automatically) generate an incident report? I know it won't be able to apportion blame but just a count of incidents during a race. We could have a best and fairest award for the season where the number of incidents during the season are taken into account.
I know the first reaction from some people will be "but it wasn't my fault", but it may alert some drivers that their incident count is higher than others and more caution is required.
Just a thought.

I pulled over to the left before the tight chicane without any intention to pass, just to not ram him up the arse and cause a major accident. Vipergod ended up braking later than I had anticipated and of course my car just wouldn't pull up and I locked it up only to punt off Rob  really sorry mate.
At this point I don't know whether to keep going with this season or to quit as I don't want to ruin other players racing.
Hey Des, don't give up because of me mate. I know you are struggling with chronic back issues and pain killers. I have raced with you long enough that to know that you don't "dive bomb" on purpose. You were just having a bad night.
