I've got a skin for the AMG GT3 I want to use. Not sure how I go about sharing it with you because the folder is 90mb. I can put it on Dropbox but what do I do, just share the link here or?

Just that particular skin  folder, in content/cars/KS_merc..../skins/skinName should be much smaller than 90MB. Can you zip up just the one skin folder and put it in Dropbox, Google drive or somewhere like mediafire?

I hope I have the skins in the correct car folders, some don't say what car they're for.
Maybe after the cut-off date we can get a single 'contents' folder with the correct paths.

It says it's 86mb, just the skin I wish to run. I will zip and then see what kind of compression i get.

You need to get the NVidia Texture Tools for Photoshop (here: https://developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-texture-tools-adobe-photoshop) so you can export it as a DDS.

Unfortunately Photoshop CC isn't supported by that tool, so if you've got Photoshop CC, you'll need to get something else to open the PSD and then export as a DDS (Paint.net is a free application that can handle that part).

Guys, if you find a custom skin, just check the size of the dds files inside the folder, to make sure they're not huge files. For example, the skins that come with the game are about 4 MB, but the skins in Sin's skin above are nearly 22 MB. This will lead to performance problems in large grids, using up more video memory. So I don't want to use skins that have poorly optimised file sizes.

You'll need to upload an entire skins folder, with multiple dds files (body, rims, crew etc etc). This appears to be just a single dds file.
