Question: are we putting the Lotus 49 in with them as well (since it's from the same year)?
Much faster than the rest of field , sorry to say.

That's a bit weird

Ok, it is only marginally faster than the rest of the cars which would mean ballast and some people may not have the DLC that it is in.

Lotus 49 is a default car (not DLC) but it's all good :)

Did anybody complete 35 laps without an off at some stage ? I think this was one combo where practice paid dividends, they are not easy to drive.
PS. Sorry you could not make it Bruce.

I had a couple of detours but thankfully didn't cost much time. Overcooking it into turn 3 and the final turn was the problem for me..I'm blaming shadows.... ;D ;D ;D ;D

WD guys.
I couldn't get a handel on these cars, tried lots of things different cars and setups etc. but I think it was just driver error. Very sorry to Wally. I was trying to spin the car around where it was.

Was having terrible trouble just trying to stay out of people's way. Lol

I didn't mind the mod, but my performance was disappointing.  Too many offs, too many lapses of concentration.  Rob did really well with his consistency in the Eagle.  It was too slow in 4th and 5th gear, even with the gears set to redline in 5th, with other cars sailing past on the straights. I should have just backed off a little without getting excited whenever I saw another car. It ended up being a fairly lonely hotkapping session for me.

That really was a surprise. I feel like that speed skating guy who was the last man standing.

I was last after the first lap after losing control in traffic. Found it really difficult to race behind other cars. So easy to miss the braking point. I gradual got back up to 4th or 5th due to people spinning in front. Then Slideways and I had an "episode". Each of us were desperately trying to avoid the other through the lesmos and both ended up in the wall. I came out ahead. My only successful overtake of the night :)

Finally there was no one left in front!

Is the handling of these mods improving? Seemed that each car I tried was a little different in character and there weren't any real handling quirks. Except for skinny crossplies and 60s brakes that is...
