let me know what you would like and remember you cannot drive the same car twice :)

All cars are up for this round.
Warning
There is a huge bump midway and lowdown through the banking that sends, so far, the Lancia off the track. :-\
Best to check with your preferred car to see if it can take the banking at high speed on various lines. :o

Hey Guys, I thought I finally had my pc sorted (phew) and ready to give it a try tonight, but I can't see any AC servers online. All other programs seem to work OK.

Checked my firewall exceptions and Steam, AC, and AC launcher are all there.

Help out a poor frustrated luddite and tell me what am I missing??

Gotta admit, when I first drove this track I thought "why on earth would you choose this track", so decided I wouldn't waste a nice car on it and picked what I thought was the worst car, to get it off the list.
Then the more laps I did, the more I enjoyed it. It was a combination that you couldn't relax for a second, and at the end of the night thought it was probably one of the best racing nights I've had, results aside. ;D
I ride my push-bike 22kms a day and I swear at the end of last nights 30 min race I was panting harder than at the end of my bike rides.
Interesting thing I found also: On the last lap of the 1st 10 min race I turned turbo down to 60% ,worried I might not have enough fuel, then found out 1 lap into the 2nd 10 min race that that change carried over into that race.

Pretty cool track although very bumpy, the Escort was good here particularly in the corners but would get blown off down the straights. If I got a good run out of the last turn behind a high powered beast I could slip stream and potentially make a pass into turn 1. Only thing is the left side tyres were seriously cooking for me no matter how I tuned the car and backing off meant slower lap times. Still no match for Phil and Bacchulum lap times and I only won the last race because Phil pitted, thanks Phil lol. Good fun racing with you guys as usual, thanks.

Well that’s the end of the dream....
In what I can only call a shocker I ended up having a night long battle with the bumps, a lack of grip and the trackside grass. I really thought the long legs of the Ferrari would have worked well here and that I’d be able to cope around the corners, how wrong I was. With the pace of the Fords up front I could never qualify better than I did in 4th and I must admit it was a real gift when the grid was a four wide front row and I powered off into the lead knowing it was only a matter of time before the field went past. Needless to say it seemed p2 was cursed as each time someone went past me into 2nd they later spun (without my assistance) and I managed to steel 2nd place.

The reverse grid race was damage limitation as I saw my championship lead disappear each time the fat Ferrari found a corner and it really was bloody hard to hang on, wishing I didn’t have force feedback turned on as it was an effort to simply steer the car over the bumps. If only there was a stadium truck option for this round it might have been a better pick.

The long race was difficult too, knowing how bad the Ferrari was as doing anything involving turning the wheel I decided to make it a 1stop race and hope that with fresher tyres I might salvage something other than dead last. Early in the race there was an Escort which slid into me, resulting in me sliding into Bacchulum and I decided to do the right thing and wait for my championship rival to recover. Needless to say I never saw him again, such was the speed of his Capri. Taking a pit stop mid race didn’t work and I think I was very lucky not to finish dead last.

For those thinking about the Ferrari I would suggest it’s taken with great caution and used on a billiard table smooth track. Granted I have no idea when it comes to setups but with running 1 in toe-in made a massively improvement and if you know how to make a softly sprung car handle then it could be a weapon, however I fear these issues are something which would have taken a new model car to improve.....

Was there any changes in the last patch to make the porsche crap, compared to the practice race we had it was shite when I raced it last week and seemed a waste of time to drive it last night. Also any reason why the Escort would completely cook the tyres. Just seems odd

Last patch, apart from graphical tweaks, just reduced the Turbo lag so if anything the Porsches should bit quicker. And which Porsche? there are four of them.
Was the Escort overly hard on tyres just at this track or all the time? I can increase cooling, other wise it's just one of the differences between cars.

I am pleased to hear it was just not me who found this round very difficult. I had spent around 20 laps in the Celica and was determined to use it, I finally came up with a setup which made it driveable with very careful use of the throttle :-\. But I echo GW thoughts on this track, there was no place you could relax even for a moment,at the end of the long race my brain and body was really starting to fade :'( :'(, but still an enjoyable experience :) :).
I had decided to use the Facetti for Silverstone but after reading Bradc report I may have a rethink. I just want at least one car track combination that is not testing me to the limit, the only car I have felt comfortable and competitive in has been the Zakspeed Capri :'( :'(

Sorry.... I actually think Silverstone should be the track for the Facetti as it’s fast, smooth and has minimal corners, so it should be a real weapon there....

Haven't really done much testing of any of the cars and tracks so it could just be me. But the tyres certainly did cook at this track with the Escort. As for the porsches, the only one I had driven was the K3, it seemed to turn in ok and was competitive when we did the pre-season practice race but had no chance at the previous round and Mael was way of the pace here, it could be just a track thing I suppose (or porsche thing as bacchulum puts it). Any way if there hasn't been any real changes in the update then its just the way it is, thanks Gee
