Inter-League Challenges / Re: Car for the ARSE challenge - poll« on: October 28, 2014, 10:57:15 AM »A shame there has only been a hand-full of people that have voted. That's democracy without compulsory voting for you. I've been doing laps in the Cobra at Spa. It works well. I reckon that's the go. The WR is held by one Darren Marsh, and I'm 4 secs off that with a 2:47.350. 9370

It would be like looking at a mirror in terms of focus, wouldn't it? E.g. - are you focussing on the mirror surface, or the reflection of whatever's some distance behind you?

Assetto Corsa / Re: Racer Introductions« on: October 28, 2014, 10:53:51 AM »G'day everyone, long time sim racer and gamer here, possibly have raced with a few of the guys here before over the years. Have mostly been iRacing for the past 6 years but Assetto Corsa has put new life into private leagues like this one right here so I am very keen to have a crack with you guys. Hi Jayforce and welcome. Keep an eye out for season 4 GT cars signup (soon) on the Tuesday night races, and check out the Thursday Cobra series. In the meantime, can you PM your GIUD to me and Flattop? 9372
Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: Season 4 thoughts« on: October 28, 2014, 10:51:06 AM »Because the main race is 45 min long, That's a pity Dick. Give it a go... the focus is fun. I've done solo 2 hr enduro races through simulated night and day. It turns your brain into mush. It's great fun. The thing is, you can't please all the people all the time, and lots of people like longer races with pitstops in my experience. Hello! Why using 10 cars?,i think using 4 GT cars the closest in terms of fuel comsuption and speed is a good choiceThe 10 cars (8 without the Zonda and 599) are automatically assigned according to your speed, like a handicap system. More cars gives you more flexibility to assign an appropriate car. Sorry, I was under the assumption that the GT cars would be faster than the Hyper Cars, which would have worked well but it must be the other way around when it comes to the Loti, etc.No, according to the RSR records, the Zonda and 599 are quite a bit faster on average, but they get their oomph from straight line speed, so it would be the case of having them whiz past on the straights all the time. 9373

That's my concern too. In the future, rifters won't be able to see the real world any more with their rift-evolved eyes, and they'll have to wear their rifts everywhere, navigating through a virtual world. |
