The weather is 19 degrees - slightly cooler than the previous race.
The 1975 British Grand Prix was a wet affair, won by Emerson Fittipaldi in a McLaren.
Some interesting history:
From the start – in which a lights system was being used for the first time in any Grand Prix, replacing the traditional national flag – Carlos Pace led from Pryce. Following the hail storm, only six cars were running at the end.

Wally: I am not sure yet if I'll make it tonight. I have been sick for a few days and I am a little scared about the long race not doing me any good. I'll try, because then I am likely to miss next race (and possibly the one after that) because I am moving to a new flat and I may need to dismantle the rig a few days earlier.
Of course, if I manage to join tonight, I do not expect much---I still have not done anything to solve whatever was causing the game to freeze after around 30 minutes of play last week... :(
