Rob's snuck back into the top 8, so he's lost the Supercup.

Also, the next race will be Phil's 400th championship race. Congratulations Phil!

This is for the Supercup, by the way. Freezer and Rob might be able to give some setup advice.

Hey Dave, this is the LHD Supercup setup I have used for all tracks. I aim for my setups to be stable but not particularly fast. Keep in mind I know nothing about car setups and I am one of the slower drivers, so try it at your own risk.

The only advice I can give is not to NOT push too hard while the tyres are cold (about the first 2 laps) once warm you can push quite hard, and there is no need to rev much past 5,000rpm. Don't bother going into the red zone. I can't use the car at Suzuka so I have only done a few laps but I got into the 2:12's, which is way off Mael's pace.

Hope this helps

rob

Yeah happened with the storm. Lots of trees down etc. Yesterday couldn't get to work as the trains wernt running and had no power at home. At work today but took 2.5 hours to get here so charging all my devices at my desk.

Be a shame if I can't make tonight not often I have a chance at a season win usually relies on the likes of kcender not being there  ;D

I'm also a possible non starter as the NBN has been down since all the rain.

Good nights racing.  Got the jump on Joe at the start to slip into 2nd.  I was never going to get past Seanus in the supercup up
front so settled into being consistent and keeping Joe behind.  That paid off and I got home 2nd.
Race 2 was more of the same, Joe always close behind.  I pitted just after the half way mark but stupidly over
shot the pit bay, just by a little bit!!!  Cost me 6 seconds with Joe and AGK now 5 seconds up the road after their stops.
I was able to run it down to follow Joe over the finish line but not quick enough to do anything more.
Good season.  Wasn't keen on the Ginetta at the start but liked it by the end...
Thanks Wally....

Race 1 chasing Freezer after he got the jump on me at the start but hard to make a pass without someone making a mistake.

Race 2 the first half behind Freezer and AGK very close behind. I pitted a lap after Freezer going for the undercut and came out 5 secs which I was surprised about but maybe that was all in missing his pit box. After that I was pretty much alone and I put in some crappy times but after a few laps found my rhythm again. AGK pitted very late with him coming out quite a way ahead of me on the second to last lap, but on his cold tyres I caught him quite quickly and I knew I needed a move that lap to get the place. That ended up being able to go much quicker through the turn at the end of the back straight and up the inside in the chicane.

Happy my power came back and was able to take the season. I know numbers were a bit lower this season but I had a really good time. I think every race had very close racing throughout. I also drove every car at least once apart from the mustang.

Thanks for all the effort running all this Wally, always appreciated.

Race 1 was tough. I was chasing AGK, had a bit of an oversteer moment and killagorilla got past. Then I chased his bumper for the rest of the race. It was hard - I was faster than him in the esses, but he was faster on the straight - he had lower wing, I guess.  Damn impossible to pass. All I could do was keep up the pressure, and we all heard the results :)

Yes, my wing was on 2. I was so angry at myself about messing this up on the last lap...thinking about it I still am. Race 2 was better.
Bit of a poor season for me...was just lacking time the last couple of months.
