Thanks doobs, if you were around the corner, I may well 'try it out', but I too do little flying sim stuff and it would be wasted... especially as I believe my sim racing careers is about to take off!

I bought one of these together with my G27 a few years ago. They are a good stick and throttle if anyone is looking to get into flight sims.
Although having said that, I don't have the desk space to keep it on my desk so mine sits in the cupboard as well, probably because my sim racing career took precedence over my 5 minute flight sim career!
I bought it for IL2 I think. I don't know why I stopped using it, but it wasn't because of my sim racing career. LOL I'm terrible. I'll keep it for a while to see if anyone is interested.

Ummm, when I said "it does nothing" I meant that I don't use it, not that it literally does nothing, for if it did nothing it would be the worst give-away ever.

I have one sitting on my floor that does nothing. The plastic is a bit sticky but it should still work.
I'll be throwing it out, but thought I'd ask in case someone could use it before I do.

No worries Darren. Keep an eye on the forums. I usually try to mix the seasons up to give everyone a go at the cars they like.

Well that was fun and disappointing.
Qual isn't that important to me because I can't seem to make setups I can drive that have enough pace , but I still enjoy trying.
Race 1 started well and was travelling in 11th at the pit stop following Wally and Freezer (I think) but slowly losing touch.
I keep having sound dropouts every couple of laps I lose sound for a half second or so. Around lap 17 it distracted me one too many times and I lost my rhythm completely, I had an off, lost a couple of positions, it all went to shit and made another handful of mistakes.
I tried to fix the sound problem between races and ended up causing Assetto Corsa to freeze. Ah well, it was fun while it lasted.
I'm hoping I can get my shit sorted in time to get some decent practice in.

Im confused and maybe something wrong with the code here, Doobs pops up everywhere even rivals himself once lol. He is also the only one I am linked to but I never saw him on track or even on the timing screen within my viewable list.
LOL, I was everywhere Marty. Race one I did alright starting last and finishing 16th. Race two, started 16th and had climbed to 10th (partly due to crashes of others) and expected to finish 8th-10th but screwed up my fuel and ran out on my in lap to pit. I waited till I rolled to a stop, then returned to the pits and started again in 16th where I finished. A bit disappointing for me because I had driven okay. Even plonking around by myself was enjoyable though. These cars are awesome Darren
