To automatically enforce the pit stop delay handicap, you have to use the PitConfig app.
1. If you don't already have PitConfig, download the app HERE and install it. If you already have PitConfig, you can skip this step.
2. Download the attached zip file (a modified PitConfig app), and unzip it into your steamapps\common\assettocorsa\apps\python\PitConfig folder, replacing existing files. It will work just like the normal app on any other server.
What does this app do?
PitConfig automates the pit stop with preset options that you can configure before the pit stop. For example, you can specify a tyre compound to change, a set amount of fuel to add (we won't be refuelling in this season, so don't add any fuel), or car repair options. You can have up to 4 pitstop presets - we will only need 1. When you stop in your pit box, the app automatically does all the mouse clicking on AC's pit box options to make the changes you have preset.
How does the delay work?
The modified app adds an automatic delay countdown timer on screen that starts when you stop in your pit box. When the timer reaches 0, your pit stop will start automatically. The delay is automatically set by the server - you don't have to do anything.
Note - you can drive out of your pit box while the countdown is happening, so sit on your brake until the pit stop starts.
If you want to check that everything is working OK, you can join the "XGN Pit Server" server, where everyone in the entry list has a 10 second pit stop delay added just for testing. The pit stop delay only comes up in a race session, so skip to the race session if you need to.

By some kind of miracle, I put in the most consistent lap times in race 1, but even that wasn't very consistent. Mael got a much better consistency in race 2, putting in very consistent laps.

I am running a test server called "XGN Pit Server", to test a driver-specific hold in the pits, where different drivers have to sit in the pits for so many seconds before the pit stop starts. This is what I hope to use if we do a Praga season, like they do in real life.
I have arbitrary time delays configured for the following test drivers:
Marty - 10 seconds
Phil.8 - 8
Joe - 6
Bacchulum - 4
Kcender87 - 10
To install
Unzip the attached zip file into steamapps\common\assettocorsa\apps\python\PitConfig, replacing files. This is a modified version of PitConfig which adds the configurable hold delay. It will work just like the normal app on any other server.

The mod track has working DRS zones. For anyone not familiar with DRS zones, you can only use DRS (assign a button to it, as well as for KERS activation, on your controller) in those track zones. You can use KERS any time. Various apps (including AC's built in electronics app) show you when you're in a DRS zone, or for the hardcore, a little blue light illuminates on the steering wheel. DRS turns off automatically when you brake, or when you toggle the DRS button again.
Tyre wear will be 1.5x, as most F1 races are approximately 1:30 hrs in length, and in the season, we would be doing 1 hr races, so this simulates real-world full race length tyre wear.
In both races, you have to use a set of soft tyres, as well as a set of hard tyres. There is no refuelling allowed.
Weather is going to be 21 degrees and sunny.

Downloading the skin pack is optional, however you will just see AC's default skins if you don't download it.
