My suggestion for the next season is:

                 "Shitbox Racing bring your Lada"

Ingame footage of DaveO and roo battling for position

Change dates of course (this selection of tracks is too good to use only once ,thanks Seanus) and these cars are lot of FUN and as Phil said they feel like a real car to drive.
We could start when Phil is ready.

Feedback please?

2101 and 2105 use the same physics and both can be found at Race Department.

2106 whilst the newer car is an older mod and will require me to bring it in line with the above.
Much like last seasons' 1600s I'll make the 2106 a car for slower drivers.

*Turns out the model has too many polys.

Tracks all need vetting and I'm doing that now. Will post links soon so others can help.

Not sure we need a faster car for the slower drivers with this mod Seanus, last Thursday it was very difficult for Phil or Bacchulum to get past other drivers , I think the racing is very close as is and a faster car may unbalance this, just my 2cents worth.
I was thinking of using the same tracks to make it easier for the people who do not have time to practice but I am always happy to try new tracks and will also test.

I agree with Roo re the cars. The racing was very close in the one Lada, and last season the 1600's were a bit too much faster, unbalancing the field.

Hope we can run the 1966 CanAm season again, the real season run for six races in September to November.
.....

Or this instead.

To throw something else in the mix.
Grat's back from his adventure's, meaning Tuesday will probably be Group C. 8)
Why not go old skool and do a 917k sportscar season? ;D
That way you can stay in prototype mode, with just a Tardis trip every Wednesday. ;)

I also prefer the Lada.

To be very honest I was looking forward to a nice easy season with a lot of close racing at tracks we already know (and a great selection of tracks they are :)). This way it makes for close racing from the first race as all drivers will (in most cases) already know the track. Last Thursday  it was  great to see Rob at the pointy end of a race fending off challenges from the faster drivers, what more could  we hope for  from a Flattops Thursday Series.

I was quite disappointed when we ran this Mod last time, imho it needs big grids to make it interesting. I think it would better suit a Tuesday Night which I would be happy to join :) although these cars are really getting beyond my skill level :'( :'( :'(

Tried the Bug eyed Sprite on some of last seasons tracks, was very interesting  :o not unlike the Lada but more lively imho.
Could be a good alternative... food for thought  ;)  Dave O.
NEVER TOO OLD TO RACE ... being competitive can be a PROBLEM though.
