You can choose more than one car if you'd race either.
Also, cast a vote if you want to see the top 8 drivers in the standings get a modest amount of success ballast to close up the field at the pointy end. If more than half of the voters say yes, then so it will be.
The season format will be 2 x 25 min races, plus a couple of endurance rounds of an hour.
Track List
Bridgehampton
Kyalami 1967
Imola 1972
Feldbergring (endurance)
Osterreich Ring 70’s
Goodwood
Spa 1966 (endurance)

FYI, the Porsche is the greatest car in all of AC. Just so you know.

It's not great but it has grown on me, I absolutely hated it the first time I drove it. Once Roo tuned out the tank slap, a couple of minor tweaks to suit my driving and flat shifting up the ratios it was a drivable and kinda quick. I voted for both.

I have it tuned beautifully, based on Roo's setup. It's pretty much big bump and rebound up front, full stiff ARB up front and full soft at rear. I don't get any over steer and it's nicely balanced.

Porsche feels a lot more lively and precise for me. GT40 a bit sluggish.
-
For those tracks, I want a GT40. 8)
Conceived, designed & built to beat Ferrari, and succeeded. ;)
Instead of success ballast, you could make the T8 drive a Porsche. :P 8)
-
I gave both a go last night and preferred the Ford. I did drive it more though so I'll give the Porsche a few more laps later.

Well Phil's setup certainly made the Porsche a little bit less shit, but still shit nonetheless :o No way that gearbox will last a race for me anyway ;D

Do you use clutch at all? Interested Porsche all the way. Maki Engineering with their new sponsor CASE IH Tractors are ready to go!!
Nice, got to learn how to do skins someday, any tutorials for noobs?
-
That's it. Freezer's done a skin. It HAS to be Porsche now :)

I do yeah some cars I find I can't be as quick shifting and clutching. Once I did a few laps I was okay with the gearbox but I did blow up the engine downshifting too heavy.

Ah cool, so far I haven't been able to drive any car without using clutch (only tried a few times). Gave up on that idea, box is broken within a lap

I voted both. I like driving the Ford more than the Porsche but the Porsche will probably have more close racing
-
I'll close the poll at 6:00pm (Eastern) Wednesday evening, and then next Tuesday we'll get underway!
-
I like that the Porsches tyres go off by the end of the race, rewarding careful driving. That, and gearbox damage, means we might see more shake ups in the field positions.
