Can someone help me out please, there's something wrong with my GT2. In 5th gear it only goes to 185 and then stops going any higher and in 6th it just doesn't even go one km faster.
I am running the default setup and also I tried Guys and the same thing. I have no 6th gear and 5th barely works and instead of getting 1:47's I'm getting 2:02's.

Id say check your pedals app to make sure you dont have a spiking clutch or throttle pedal, also check the in game telemetry which will show easily if its throttle or brake pedals spiking with the trace on either easily showing if there is an issue. When full throttle the telemetry should be a flat line and same with brake when not on it. To fix you can simply add deadzones or check the pots on your pedals.

If thats not it I dont know what could cause this but most likely its something to do with the pedals.

Yep you were right. I started up the Fanatec software and the brake was showing it was being pressed about 20% of the way down.

Wonder what sort of times the guys in the 599's are getting? I dont think I will be in the same race as those guys as its hard enough to hang on to the gt2's and p4/5's.

It would be good to see some of our 599 lap times. Don't forget, at Imola some guys were over 6 seconds slower than Guybrush and Aiman.

Would be interesting to run some laps with a 599 driver as their closing speed down the main straight will be pretty nasty 40kmh+ at the end of that straight will definitely mix up the racing a bit.

The p4/5 is a real weapon at this track.  IMO it beats this crapbrick mclaren easily.

Should've been slower at Imola, like me, Bird. ;) 8)
(although I'd prefer the Macca)

In the P4/5, in race trim with a full fuel load, I've done a 1:48 even.

I've run a few laps, and managed to dial out the snappiness (most of it) of the McLaren.
Bit of suspension travel, bit of fiddling with the diffs & 1 wing at the rear, and the car is now drivable :)
Done a 1:46.6 quali lap with it.  I don't think I'll be able to do 48's on race trim, but I'll try (what tyre, though?)

I'll attach the set, someone might be interested in it.

I've just beaten Marty's time - I reckon he was not trying too hard.  The wr is way off, over 2 sec, and there are still a lot of people faster, I'm only 160th or so on RSR.

Edit:
mediums & full tank;  1:47.8

In the Evora my qualy trim is 1:46.7 with maybe another .5 to gain or so and just get inside the WR maybe. Race trim I dont lose too much on low fuel on meds or hards with best lap on hards only .8 off my best softs lap but will be quite interesting for the longer race as tyre wear is much more of an issue on this track. The guys real quick early will quite likely die at the end of each stint fairly bad so I look forward to that race more then the others.

I did have a good strategy for the race last week but it all turned to crap when I had to stop to fix my fps issues then had traffic and some damage which ruins the best of plans. This week if I can stay out of trouble early should be competitive at least against the Evora's and gt3's the GT2's, 599 and P4/5 I dont think I can match unless they make some big mistakes or take each other out.  ;)

Thanks, Bird. I'll be in the Mclaren too since I missed last weeks race. I'll give this setup a shot tonight and see how I go.

With those kinds of times you might as well drive in reverse, you will still probably beat me. The best I've managed in the 599 is a 1:51.160, RSR has me at a 1:51.818. I just cant get the thing to go around corners at more that what feels like 8km/h.
