Most struggled on Hungaroring in the Cobra. 2nd race at Blackwood was much better.

Was good fun. I was a bit peeved to find my throttle pedal was only going to 90%. I blame my oversteering loops on that.

Glad everyone protested about the 20 lapper!  I had just thought it was my crap driving, lack of "Cobra time" and the twisty track, but once I ran a lap at Blackwood, I realised it wasn't any of our imaginations.
Certainly the first couple of laps were fun, on the tail of Gratulin with making a little on turn 3 but slowly the rest of the track turned against me and lost contact. Hard fought laps with Grubbet and then loosing it entering the straight on the last lap found me parked nose first in the fence!
But it was fun and new really looking forward to next week's Spa run.
Will pose the question of race numbers and laps in a new thread

sorry leyyinglo, I got your message late, but with "The Joe Tool" Gratulin was able to put in.   Get practicing for next week leyyinglo! :)
and ThyMelMan... one race sorry you missed it.

Shame I didn't make it last night but the free bar went on pretty late after our company meeting, and I'm not one to turn down free stuff, especially beer  ::)

Thursday night was the best Sim racing I've had in quite a while, really enjoyed it.  I just wish I had come along earlier to
practise in the Cobra as You have to change Your driving to suit the car quite a bit.
I spent the whole of Hungaroring practising, but really enjoyed Blackwood. Race 2 I somehow had too short gear ratios
so was a bit down on top speed.

I think with Spa having  a better grip track and one we know well, should allow for some great Cobra racing next week... certainly was a wake up moving back to the Cobra!
