S7R1: Mazda Cup Gentrack1 Post-Race Chat
« on: July 30, 2015, 09:25:39 PM »
Gentrack1 proved itself to be a fantastic track once again. The little Mazda did struggle up those hills however :)

Congrats to Guybrush (Race 1) and ThyMelman (Race 2) for the wins. ThyMelman is leading the championship on 47 points with Guybrush on 45 and Rob on 44.

Now to try and sort out my brakes!!!!

Yep, great racing.

Just make sure you are fully depressing all the pedals to calibrate them before you drive Gratulin.

Not a great night for me in either race.

How often do you guys calibrate pedals? Not sure I've ever done it.

I dont need to do that with my pedals since win 8 but did when running win 7 now on 10 still don't need to.

Sorry I missed the last race was just taking a break between races rejoined at the wrong time as the session was changed and then couldnt get the car into gear so rather then sit and watch the race from pits I left. Was just about to have dinner anyway so no point letting it get cold running the race a lap down.

I can recommend dxtweak2 for checking and adjusting pedal calibration.

I'm on win 7 for my gaming rig and I have to calibrate my brake pedal as soon as I go in game. I just have to press it down fully in car to calibrate it.

Stan I remember having to do that in win 7 too, I moved from 7 to ditch that aero crap. Good side effect was pretty sure I never needed to do that again once I stopped using 7 with the brake. Funny when I first went to win 8 getting the logitech drivers to work was a bugger but moving to 10 it all worked straight away.

Haha , just had a look at the results, great to see a shift in some of the names, I wish I hadn't gone an looked at the lap times... I think I may be still circulating if I had have races!

Thanks to Andrew and Joe.

Marty, are you running amd or nvidia drivers?

I have Nvidia cards so that would be Nvidia drivers, I have heard some have had issues with w10 and AMD drivers but AMD also recently released some new drivers for w10. I also have some new NV drivers that just came out the other day and have had no issues with my SLI setup.

In win 8.1 each time I started my computer it would have issues with the NV surround res in AC and I had to turn off NV surround and back on, this has not been an issue in w10. Still my right screen at times seems to be running at half res or something so I need to turn it off then back on to get it to display properly. This has been an issue with NV surround for me since windows 7 and I dont think it will ever be fixed.
