New lap stats
« on: June 25, 2014, 10:59:46 PM »
On the usual race stats here: http://xgnassettocorsa.blogspot.com.au/2014/06/s1r3-bmw-m3-e30-at-monza.html
I've now colour-coded/graphed your lap times. If you click on a racer's name in a race session to show his lap times, they are colour coded green fastest to red slowest, and also plotted - longer bar is faster. You'll see what I mean.

It might be handy for looking at how your lap times drop off for your given tire choice.

Doesn't work in Internet Explorer, only Chrome and Firefox.

You are awesome Wally!!

Except I notice my position is still way down and lap times are still poor. You must have got some data wrong somewhere!??

And IE sux!

Nice touch Wally, well thought out.

Hi Mopz! Thanks for the bit of racing we did in the second race. I think you where toying with me though!?  :D

You're really onto it, mate :)

One thing I've noticed about the lap-position graphs: it starts on lap 1 and apparently shows end of lap 1 positions.   I think it'd be great (if it's not too much trouble) to start on lap 0 with the grid positions - that way it'd show the positions gained on lap 1, too.

That's a little harder because the server doesn't log that in a race session, but still doable. Next time Wimbledon gets too boring, I'll look into it :)

yeah I thought so - you have to pull it through from the quali.  Well, good luck if you decide to do it.
(but is there a time when watching tennis isn't boring?!) :)

2.15.8 after 12 laps in the Gp a.  There's maybe more in it but not consistently for me. Can't get into the practice server. What are others running?

And I just found an issue, had to swap out accelerator pedal. Pedal was fluctuating between 75% and 100% when fully depressed. I guess it was doing that last time too... Hmm. Maybe not.

Can't get into the practice server.
Unfortunately the grid, limited to 24 spots is full again for this race, so you're on the reserve list unless someone is unable to make it. The practice server only has the main 24 drivers on the grid.

have you tried to put the reserves on the praccy server, see if it works?  I mean we'll never practice all 24 of us at the same time, it may work...

Wally you can take me off the practice server as I am away until Tuesday skowont be on there again. I am trying to make the race still but will let you know on the day if Im runningtoo late so you can get in a reserve if possible. Getting a flight at 6.30 from Tassie to Melbourne but if there is any delay I wont make it so will let you know by 6.30 tuesday.

An option could be to make the pracitce server freejoin with half the grid int group a and the other half dtm so anyone can then join without needing the prebooking for the practice server.

Actually putting the praccy server up with freejoin isn't a bad idea IMO.

will AC have more pit boxes eventually?

Or will they stay true to the RL versions of the tracks?

I imagine in RL it depends on how many pits they can actually accommodate. But then with races like Le-mans with over 160 competitors... I don't know.
