That is cool
Everybody knows PLP! It's like the third Australian export after iron ore and kangaroo scrotum.

Please download version 1.16 from the first post. This is OPTIONAL for Tuesday nights (although it helps to have everyone on the same version), but Phil may want you to use it on Thursday nights.

You can just download this version and not have to make any changes to the settings - it is preconfigured for XGN.

New version 1.16 has two new features:

Race Delay Handicap Timer - We may use this on Thursday nights (the feature is enabled on Thursdays only by default)
You can enable a timer displayed in the app which will count up the number of seconds since the race start. You can use this to enable a handicap system, where say some drivers have to wait 20 seconds before they start, for example. Once you start moving, the timer disappears.
To enable this on certain days only, edit PLP.ini and set ENABLE_RACE_COUNTUP_TIMER_DAYS to the days you want the timer to appear. Like ENABLED_DAYS above, you can enable the timer on one or more days.
0 = Monday, 6 = Sunday. You can have more than one day with commas in between e.g. 0,2 for Monday and Wednesday.
With no value, e.g. "ENABLE_RACE_COUNTUP_TIMER_DAYS=", the timer will be disabled on all days.

Different settings for different days - we won't make use of this here at XGN
If you want to have different PLP settings for different days of the week (say if you race in more than one league with different rules), you can now have a separate PLP.ini configuration file for different days. If you copy PLP.ini to a new file in the same folder called "PLP-xxx.ini", where "xxx" is the day of the week: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun (e.g. "PLP-Tue.ini"), then the app will use those settings on that day of the week. On any other day, or if there are no day-specific config files, the app will use the settings in PLP.ini.

It's pretty simple... it's really just displaying the lap timer until you go!

New version 1.17 to download: this version doesn't pick up cuts in dirty pit lanes like at Nurburgring.

Unzip into your Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa folder.

I added a new version 1.18 to the first post, which has performance improvements. It reduces stutter on new car/track combos, by only writing to config files when AC is shut down.

Are you using something that turns all your web sites into HTTPS? If so, maybe disable that temporarily.

What is the exact error message?

Some days you're the statue ...
