Post by: rob on December 07, 2017, 10:03:25 PM: Sorry for the no show in Race 2 guys. I thought that I would reboot the pc between races to see if I could get my mic working. Bad move. When the computer restarted my already flaky internet died completely.

Oh well, roll on next week and Silverstone '67. One of my favourite tracks, but I fear probably unsuited to the Nissan.

Now there is four people vying for 3rd on the podium, but I am going on a short break and my practice will be very limited before next race but at least I know the track. Should be a great final race for this very entertaining season put together by Bruce. See you all next week.

As for myself, it took me 3 attempts to complete a valid lap during practice even though I knew the track. Was a sign that it was a night for spectating and not driving ;D

Race 2 I nearly drilled the back of DaveO in the final hairpin, screeched up behind him under brakes. Held on as people spun here and there to take 3rd from starting last.

Silverstone 67 will be a different beast I think, suiting more of the cars.
