Think we should add up all the ballast and then divide it evenly among those darn aliens and leave us old blokes alone Bruce...... ::) ;D ;D
Hear Hear  >:(

I am completely in support of this so long as I qualify as an old bloke  ;D

It was a fun race, especially with AJ. We swapped spots a few times, made a couple of small mistakes each, and ended up less than 2 seconds apart. Nice one!

I see the results have done that thing again where AJ switched cars and its remembered his first choice and dnf'd him.

Had some spot swapping with Rooshooter each of us taking turns to run wide etc. Mean while Phil just kept on being super consistent making it very difficult to run the big ford down. Got there eventually as the ford started to sliding around more but it remained intimidating all the way to the end.
Thanks chaps very good.

Congratulations to the podium people, a very close finish.
I had a lot of fun in the early laps as I had to pass Phil and Humper twice after I made a slight mistake when in front of them,
I was sorry to see Flattop and Imp exit early but I fully understand as the GT40 is VERY difficult to drive. I have seen these race
at the Goodwood Revival in the UK (historic cars not replicas) and they do not appear as difficult to drive IRL, they still move around a fair bit
but are more controllable, they tend to 4wheel drift rather than lose the rear end. I think the Kunos version of these needs a bit of work.
Could we have a section where we could post setups to make it easier for people to find setups in a hurry.
I think it was a good night given the differences in each of the cars attributes and it was not an easy race.

Good nights racing again. I agree that the GT40 was too difficult to drive. It can't be that tough IRL. The Porsche seemed to be the easiest to control once you applied Rooshooters (?) setup fixes - just had to nurse it out of the corners and brake real smooth otherwise strange things could happen. The Beemers were too fast but looked like a handful. Not sure how realistic their handling is?

I seemed to end up in a gap in the field - 10 seconds (and growing) behind AJ and Wally and 10 seconds in front of Slideways ( until he disappeared) and then Lenore started to gain. Then as my tires went off so did his so we held station for the remainder of the race.

Only real excitement was when Wally entertained me out of turn 1 as he overtook me after his pitstop, going sideways!!

Perhaps a compulsory pitstop or a safety car at halfway would spice it up a bit?

If you have a safety car,  that would be the same as two half-length sprints, wouldn't it?

Maybe someone needs to write an app that adds a random chance of a "virtual safety car"  ;D
