Yes, I'm looking forward to the races. The fun run had lots of bumper to bumper and side by side racing. In both series it's easy to make small mistakes which let's others catch up. FFB is very strong in the utes so I reduced it 4 or 5 times in steps...and it's still too high. So I developed early stages of a tennis arm...awesome. I had to do some practice for Monza in the GT3, then yesterday's 90min race...yeah, havent done a single lap at Road America. I've got the pain under control it seems, but racing 3 cars a week and doing practice as well is too much atm.GT3's are priority as they are just the most fun to drive. So my thinking is doing a few laps in the ute there at Road America and then do only the 20min race tonight...see how we go with that. It takes time to work out setup and braking points in the v8's and I don't like working that out during qualy...leads to crappy results and possibly accidents as well. « Last Edit: October 20, 2020, 01:36:49 PM by killagorilla » Logged Wally Administrator Hero Member Posts: 11033 Karma: 152 AC Admin Re: S35R1 - Road America « Reply #9 on: October 20, 2020, 06:12:50 PM » Server's up for combined utes & supercar practice, with the usual server password. Skins will just be random during practice. Then I'll restart the server for Q1 & R1 in the utes with correct skins etc. Logged “You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time” Joe Hero Member Posts: 2368 Karma: 39 Re: S35R1 - Road America « Reply #10 on: October 20, 2020, 07:01:59 PM » Oops. That went a lot better than expected. Forgot to turn on crew chief so the start was difficult with I think Wally next to me, but it was great close racing. Thanks for not shooting me off, Wally...keeping these guys under control with cold tyres is not easy .Qualy could have been better...bad luck with traffic. Well, lucky Joe made a little mistake then...passing him would otherwise most likely not have worked.A very rare win...whoohoo!!! « Last Edit: October 20, 2020, 09:26:54 PM by killagorilla » Logged AGK Newbie Posts: 12 Karma: 3 Re: S35R1 - Road America « Reply #14 on: October 21, 2020, 12:41:30 AM » For everyone's amusement, how not to enter the pits at this track Logged Print Pages: 1 2 3 « previous next » Xtreme Gaming Network / Simulation Racing Leagues / Assetto Corsa / Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights (Moderator: Wally) / S35R1 - Road America
