Race 1 was tough. I was chasing AGK, had a bit of an oversteer moment and killagorilla got past. Then I chased his bumper for the rest of the race. It was hard - I was faster than him in the esses, but he was faster on the straight - he had lower wing, I guess.  Damn impossible to pass. All I could do was keep up the pressure, and we all heard the results :)
Yes, my wing was on 2. I was so angry at myself about messing this up on the last lap...thinking about it I still am. Race 2 was better.
Bit of a poor season for me...was just lacking time the last couple of months.

It was great fun...and I'm pretty happy with the result considering how badly prepared I was.
Some very close racing with Phil in race 1. I went off track and got him an easy pass early in the race and then I was pretty much following him sort of closely.
In race 2 I was racing by myself most of the time. Pitted very late and then had a bit of a battle for P4, but no chance to defend my position on cold tires.
Well, kept this thing on the tarmac a lot more than I thought it would be possible...great track for these cars  :)

Was looking forward to the Supercup after this week's poor performance, but it's the overall standings that count and not the previous result  :(
Wally, you mind changing that in order to make it more...err...interesting?

Great track for these cars. It was fun.
I've made a couple of mistakes...sorry to the guys affected.

Well, I didn't think I'd be able to keep the Supercup on track the whole race...lots of sliding and it only took a very few laps to get enough flat spots on my tires to make the whole rig vibrate quite a bit. Still managed to do my fastest laps on my last lap.
Joe was in his own league anyway...the 2nd race I managed to stay in sight distance...that's achievement enough for me.
This cut track warning app disappeared by itself without me noticing it...haha. Getting close to the half way mark the 2nd race I thought, would have been smart to check the pit entry before getting into the race. Perfectly prepared as always, huh?!
The standings don't really reflect performance atm as especially Wally is doing so much better than me, well, won't last long...
Merry Christmas everyone  :)

I expected it to be a challenge keeping up with the Ginettas, but it seems the difference between the Porsche and the Ginetta is just a bit too much. Well, should have done my homework. Had some good close racing there at the back...thanks.

Btw, Mael passed me as well before the start of the race.

I thought this group of cars was excellent. Good, close racing with battles throughout the field.
Yes, these cars should get us an interesting season with plenty of close racing.
I haven't tried any of the other cars and just picked the Porsche because I like it and I've got a setup for it. It was close, but it seemed the Ginetta's were going a bit better on this track...wonder if it's just this track or if the Ginetta is generally a bit faster. I'm so lazy...wouldn't otherwise haven't even tried the other ones...gotta do some homework I guess.

Hardware & Reviews / Re: Monitors are not recognised...can you help?

I dropped it off at the local Umart shop (where I bought it) on 24 Sept and got an email today saying it's ready for pick up.
That makes it 7 weeks and one day...wow, I'm impressed.
No idea what these buddies with Gigabyte are thinking. Maybe they assume everyone has a spare 2080 lying around or doesn't care about not being able to use his computer.
Won't buy Gigabyte again.

Wally, better give this one a miss as well. Need a bit more recovery time after a surgery.
Just done a few laps there though. Really great track for these cars.

Sorry, won't be able to do this one.

Stupid mistake at turn one first race resulted in me being by myself almost the whole race.
Strangely enough race two was even more lonely without a mistake. The sharp right-handers, especially the 2nd one, were always borderline losing my rear end.
It's a good track for these cars.

The camera that is your 'eyes' can't be off by 10 degrees as it doesn't matter where you put the driver, even facing backwards his 'eyes' are always facing forward.
If you mean the default view seems to be offset to the right a little then adjust that using the 'onboard settings' app.
My steering wheel is out of centre by approx 10deg, but the car is going straight. I never noticed something like that with any other car and I checked if the wheel is centered in the simucube firmware.
So I have to steer (I think) left to go straight.

Make sure all the toe settings are symmetrical in your setup. I once spend a hours fuming over a car not driving straight, reinstalling wheel drivers the lot. Only to realize the setup was the problem.

Haha...yeah, you're right...messed up the toe settings. Congrats on your win tonight - great job.

Wonder why the steering wheel of the Holden is not centered....probably a fault in the mod.

You have the wheel on? (which Holden?)

What do you mean by having the wheel on? It's calibrated correctly and straight with all other cars. It's the Holden ZB.
I see, you mean the virtual wheel. No, that's always turned off with me, but it's clearly out of centre...maybe 10deg or a tad more.
